I decided to try somewhere new as my nails were looking a bit scruffy. I picked Avocado because of the location, the positive reviews online, the option of an express mani for under £20, and because the website emphasised hygiene and that's important to me. Everyone was very friendly when I arrived and made me feel very welcome and relaxed, which is important as it makes even little treatments a proper treat, and I noticed frequent wiping down of... surfaces and equipment, which was very reassuring. Szandra was a real perfectionist and clearly cared about getting my nails how I wanted them, so I'd definitely come back again for future manis/pedis (I'd like to try the luxury ones) and the location is very convenient for me to pop in if I'm meeting friends after work or similar, so I might see about bringing someone else with me in future. I'm also thinking of booking in to try eyelash extensions for some events in October and November because I would trust someone who took as much pride and care in their work as Szandra did - and the prices look reasonable.

Been trying to find somewhere in London that does Lyon waxing as i used to get them monthly elsewhere before I moved to London, had my first appointment today with Szandra and i could tell straight away that she was an expert, the whole procedure was painless, quick and she was very thorough. I also felt so comfortable. I've been waxing for years now and have had waxes all over the world (due to working abroad quite a bit) and I can honestly say she... was one of the best I've had. (One of the strips that normally hurts for me regardless barely did at all with her couldn't believe it, so please don't change your technique - it obviously works!!) The wax was also a good temperature as some therapists have it way too hot but this was ideal. Thank you for putting me at ease and I am so relieved that i've finally found somewhere to get my monthly waxes!! Keep up the good work girls.

This was my first visit to Avocado and my first Shellac manicure, having been recommended to go by two work colleagues. It was not a disappointment! The staff were friendly, professional and skilled and I felt very comfortable in such a relaxing, clean and well organised environment. I very much enjoyed the experience and the finished product! Thank you very much to Renata for such a lovely manicure!

The staff are incredibly welcoming, professional and talented. They did an excellent job with their pedicure and waxing treatments. It is an oasis near King's Cross. I will make a trip here every time I visit London!

Staff were really friendly and helpful and gave detailed advice about all treatments. The facial I had was luxurious and left my skin feeling amazing. Great boutique with great service and reasonably priced for how luxurious it feels!

I've been coming to this place for my Environ facials for almost 2 years now. First with Claudinely and now with Angela. Both of them are true experts in their fields and they will make you feel like a princess. I love this place, it's my little peace sanctuary in a middle of a hustling and bustling busy London. The service here is excellent, I always leave feeling completely relaxed and zen. It also happens that I have the best sleep after visiting this place :) Can't recommend it enough, it's the best self-care ritual I have established so far.

I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The staff is great. Friendly, polite and very professional. The place is comfortable and very clean. Can’t fault them. Prices are good too. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend this salon. The staff are very professional, friendly and squeeze you in even if they are busy. The manager, Claudia is great, she stayed late to finish my treatment when I was delayed due to the tube strike! The other girls are very nice too. The decor of the salon is very classy and it's extremely clean. It just feels professional but the prices are very reasonable for Central London. I highly recommend the individual eyelashes. And their shellac manicures really last well. They have a good receptionist who organises appointments and can advise you well.
