Beautylicious is a professional salon based in Saffron Walden, Essex. We are focused on providing high-quality services for all round customer satisfaction. All treatments are carried out by qualified therapists who have 15 years experience between them.

Waxing & Intimate Waxing
For both our Waxing & Intimate Waxing we use Satin Smooth soft crème wax enriched with Aloe Vera & Cucumber which is particularly effective for use on sensitive skin. Aloe Vera contains healing properties and Cucumber improves moisture retention.
Ear Piercing
We offer a professional hygienic ear piercing service for anyone over the age of 5 years old, although adult supervision and consent will be required under 18’s. We use high quality caflon studs which are sterile ear piercing studs that come in their own packaging and are opened in front of you and accessories that are sterilised so you can be assured of trouble free ear piercing.
Eye Treatments
Eyelash & Eyebrow Tint* (15 – 30mins)
Refectocil lash and brow tints enhance and define lashes and brows for up to 6 weeks with a selection of shades: - Black, Graphite, Blue /Black, Deep Blue, Natural Brown, Light Brown, Chestnut & Red.
Eye Energizer (30mins)
This treatment leaves eyes looking refreshed and feeling revitalised. It includes cleansing of the eye area, an eye mask, pressure point massage, finished with an eyebrow shape.
Eyelash Perming* (75mins)
This treatment provides a permanent curl on the lashes that can last up to 8 weeks.
Party Lashes* (15mins)
A strip of temporary lashes is placed along your lash line to give an instant fuller and longer look, great for special occasions, we supply a variety of strip lashes for you to choose from.
Facials
Express (30 mins)
When leading a busy lifestyle this is the perfect way to make sure your skin is still at its best. The treatment includes a cleanse, deep cleanse, exfoliation, mask to benefit your skin finished with a toner and moisturiser.
Prescription (60mins)
This is a classic facial that is tailored specifically to suit your skin requirements. The treatment includes a cleanse, deep cleanse, exfoliation, steaming, a relaxing shoulder, neck and facial massage followed by a mask to benefit your skin, topped off with a toner and moisturiser.
Aromatherapy (60 mins)
This facial is as the prescription facial but not only has added benefit of essential oils and plant extracts being specifically chosen to benefit your skin, it will also help the body and mind to unwind.
Specialised Collagen Facial (75mins)
This facial benefits the matured skin as it decreases the depth and length of fine lines and wrinkles, reduces the roughness of skin, regenerates collagen and elastin leaving your skin looking younger and radiant. The treatment includes a prescription facial but the mask is replaced with a specialised collagen mask specifically chosen to benefit your skin.
Deep Cleansing Back Facial (60mins)
This is a prescription facial with the difference of being applied to the back, it’s a refreshing and cleansing treatment for that hard to reach area, including a deep back massage.
Tanning
St Tropez* (30 – 45mins)
Tinted and intensely hydrating for a longer-lasting streak-free tan and a golden glow. Perfect for tanners who like a hydrating, manually applied treatment that lasts up to 7 days. Includes exfoliate and polish if required and moisturiser on any dry areas to ensure an even tan. Development time 4-8 hours
Sienna – X* (30 – 45mins)
Sienna-X tanning is renowned in the industry for high quality results each and every time and has a unique blend of antioxidants, vitamins, aloe vera, avocado and eco-cert DHA. Comes with four individual strengths, for subtle colour / extra fair skin that never tans naturally, for a client’s first tan / those with fair or sensitive skin that can burn, for medium toned skin that tans reasonably well / those with a base tan already and for darker skins that tan well / already have a base tan.
Development time 8 hours.
Specialised Treatments
Swedish Massage (25mins)
This is a relaxing yet stimulating massage that also has a number of health benefits. Swedish massage improves blood circulation, increases the level of oxygen in the blood, helps the body remove toxins, improves flexibility, eases tension and can help with pain management.
Aromatherapy Massage (25 mins)
Essential oils can penetrate the body through the skin, and have multiple benefits beyond a nice smell. They can affect your mood, alleviate pain, help the body detoxify and a variety of other effects, depending on the essential oil. You can choose something that is either relaxing, energising, detoxing, muscle easing or balancing, based on how you want to feel when the massage is finished.
Ear Candles (30mins)
This is an ancient treatment which has psychological and physical advantages. The healing properties of the candles work in two ways. Firstly, the pressure of the rising air promotes the secretion of impurities. Secondly, the warmth stimulates the immune system. This treatment can help with colds, vertigo, migraines, allergies and many more.
*This treatment requires a patch test 48 + hours in advance, only before your first treatment.

❤ WE DONT USE ELECTRIC FILES ❤
We have been asked this question a few times now by new clients when booking so thought we would just post on here so it answers the the question for you all.
We have worked in the nail industry for over 10 years and have seen as the years go by electric files have been given a bad name more and more because of incorrect usage.
... Unfortunately many technicians use electric files incorrectly and don't follow the correct procedures, therefore causing unnecessary damage to your natural nail or sometimes even cut cuticles and skin around the nails. Once this damage has been done to the natural nail there is no fixing it, it's just a waiting game until it grows out which in some people can take more than 6 months depending on your nail growth.
Hygiene is also extremely important with any form of nail file and they should ALWAYS be disinfected between every service to remove and destroy any micro-organisms that can cause and spread infections, viruses and diseases. This should be done by the items being placed in barbicide (a blue solution) or by using an alcohol spray.
Through our time in the nail industry we have heard many stories about peoples experiences, being left with thin red sore nails, low brakes on the nail bed, burning sensation (major sign theyve filed your nails way to much), cuts around the cuticle where control has been lost (most likely due to incorrect speed), we've even had people tell us they feel on edge whenever it comes out to be used on their nails because of past experiences.
This is NOT how your nails should look or feel when being done, it most certainly should not be a painful experience nor should you feel on edge, it is supposed to a relaxing, pain free experience where you can trust the work your nail technician undertakes !!
This is why when we opened 2 years ago we made the decision NO ELECTRIC FILES !!! Even though we have been fully trained and certified with the correct use of electric files.
We have found our clients absolutely love the fact we don't use them and that we promote natural healthy nails. So we are glad that we take the little extra bit of time and effort with manual hand files as the exact same results are acheived. Basically in our opinion electric files are a lazy technicians tool or for nail techs that like to speed through people !!
Two GOLDEN RULES to always remember if you do ever have an electric nail file service is 1. You should always see that the file peices have come from a pot of barbicide or they have been sprayed with alcohol to ensure no cross contamination. 2. You should only ever hear a very light faint buzzing sound when its being used on your natural nail, NEVER LOUD !!
We are not saying every electric nail tech out there uses them incorrectly there are also many who use them perfectly and follow correct procedures, but it always good to know what to be looking out for if you ever have a service where one is used.
