Brow Droop post Botox
Can my brow drop after having Botox? This can occur after having Botox, due to the imbalances of muscles of eyebrows, forehead and lid.
The frontalis muscle - the main muscle on the forehead which starts at the hairline to the brow line. This muscle usually elevates the brow. Botox relaxes ‘temporarily paralyses’ this muscle, causing this to drop. This effect can be more pronounced if: - frontalis muscle is very sensitive to the Botox.... - The Botox may have migrated downwards - either by rubbing the area injected or laying down too soon post treatment. - There is too much Botox for this muscle, and a reduced dose meds to be used on this area in the next treatment.
What can be done about this? If the drooping is due to too much Botox effecting a Frontalis muscle, injecting the botulinism toxin into the outside part of the brow depressor (Orbicularis Oculi) muscle will weaken the opposing muscle and reestablish some balance by elevating the brow.

I live in London and I've been going to a clinic in Central London to get my procedures done. I found the Bodylines Skin CLinic on Facebook on an ad that popped on my newsfeed. I read the reviews and messaged the clinic. At first I was a bit aprehensive if I should get them done in a different clinic but I was not disappointed! I'm very pleased with the service and the results! The Dr was really nice, very patient and answered all of my questions. She made me feel at ease and really comfortable. Pain was minimal and she was constantly checking up on me to check if I was alright. Would definitely go back for touch-up and would definitely recommend to anyone who's considering this clinic - even if you don't live in the area - I'd say that it's definitely worth the trip. The clinic is close to the high street which has loads of shops and restaurants and it's right in front of the train station so it's very easy to find. :)

I have had a history of teeth grinding which has led to chronic migraines and tightness/pain around my jaws. After seeing reviews on botox and recommended by my GP, I got it done on my masseter muscle/jawline at the Romford branch. The staff was very friendly and catered to an appointment when I was available at a short notice. The actual treatment was completed in less than 2 minutes and I did not encounter any pain – just few drops of blood which you barely notice. It has been just over 2 weeks, and my jaw muscles do not feel tight and I have had a reduction in my migraines. Ive had cheek fillers elsewhere in the past and was not happy with the outcome, so was a little worried before getting the treatment. Everything was perfect. That lovely, friendly lady made me feel absolutely comfortable. For first time i didnt experience any pain through the procedure. The Dr was extremely careful and pay enough attention on me. I highly recommend!

A year of terrible outbreaks due to a skin allergy ; my skin appearance complete deteriorated and left me feeling very self conscious. My personality completely changed and I no longer liked having my picture taken.

I couldn't leave the house without continuously wearing a cake of make up, which in turn was a vicious cycle and damaged my skin further without allowing it to breathe naturally.
