So finally just got home and still haven't finished our little Fingertips but I can promise you it will be done by opening time tomorrow morning.
The Major of Hertford is officially opening the salon at 3pm tomorrow and would it love it if anybody would like to come and watch and celebrate with us @ 14 St Andrew st! Xxx

As this chapter closes on the story of Fingertips Nail Salon, it's a great time to reflect on the dedication and professionalism of all of the staff, and the loyalty of the customers, who've made it into one of Hertfords' longest running, modern local businesses.
Founded in 1988, by Kay Dodd and Marion Newman, the salon has constantly provided a level of excellence in nail care and beauty treatments to ladies in Hertfordshire which few salons nationally can rival.
From it's ...earliest beginnings, the salon has prided itself on providing its' technicians extensive training, allowing them to compete successfully in national nail competitions and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
As the salons reputation has grown, so too have the links with local community, regularly organising charity fund raising events for both Isobel Hospice and Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital, whilst on a professional level, Kay Dodd moved on to providing training to students across Hertfordshire in 2004, many of whom have gone on to become technicians at Fingertips, or work independently across the UK.
The new premises, opening in St Andrews street on 1st March, sees the longstanding business begin a new and exciting chapter. The bespoke interiors' rustic charm will allow the business to renew its commitment to the tradition of nail product excellence. Although the building will have changed, clients will be delighted to know they will still have their needs met by the same key members of staff who've looked after them for nearly 30 years.
Zoe Davidson, who took over the reigns for Fingertips in 2004, will be joined by Jaimie Mitchell, who has been with the salon for 23 years. The two ladies have a deep understanding of their client requirements and will provide customers personal attention with the same level of care and high quality products which have allowed the business to thrive throughout the past 30 years."
