Sally’s Hairdressers, one of the first children’s hairdressers to open in London, was established in 2006 and has since grown to be a key part of the Northcote Road community.

Sally herself has been cutting hair for over 37 years, 30 of those dedicated to children’s hairdressing. Over this time she has honed her hairdressing skills and can provide an excellent cut for children of all ages, from baby’s first haircut to those in their late teens.

There is Apple TV and Netflix to watch, toys to play with, and Sally is always happy to chatter away to any parents or siblings that come along. She is also well-practiced in working with children with special needs, who often find it extremely difficult to have their hair cut.

It is Sally’s friendly demeanour and the lovely, relaxed atmosphere of what has been described as her ‘tardis-like’ shop, that keep customers returning again and again. Her no-gimmicks approach is the perfect way to introduce children to having their hair cut, and enables them to progress towards the sometimes intimidating environment of an adult salon with comfort and ease.
