One of the things I am always warning my clients is DO. NOT. PICK your gels off! Why? Because gel polish (when prepped and applied correctly) adhere to your nails much stronger than polish, so you may think you’re just picking off the gel but you’re actually taking a good few layers of your natural nail too. Leaving you with flaky, thinner and often brittle nails as a result.
