This coming Monday we will be holding a charity day in aid of APEX FOOD CLUB, now we understand it's charity this and charity that but the one thing the people in this city are renowned for is generosity toward charities! We've had an insight to the Apex food club and the help and work they are doing is incredible put simply here's a few things that they do
... * HELP WITH FOOD POVERTY *HELP WITH FAMILIES FINANCES *HELP PEOPLE GET INTO EMPLOYMENT
So if everyone can donate a little we will together help families many with young children in difficulty !!!

The 2 lads keeping the local community looking good at the Ballymagoarty Men's Health programme in the Ballymac youth club, a great event it was with a range of free health checks and pampering for men 💈✂️🧔! Rumour has it a few even got their eyebrows waxed 😳 !!!

We've had a nice surprise visit from Adam and Keigan of the Oxford Bulls who presented us with a great gift of a framed Oxford bulls jersey as a thank you for our sponsorship of the team in 2016 which was a pleasure! It's great to see the team going from strength to strength and we would like to wish them all the success for the future and a massive thank you from all at Stairway!

As we're coming up to our 15th Birthday celebrations at the start of December we couldn't think of a better way to kick it all off than with a charity day. We've been so lucky over these past 15 years with support from local people,local communities and local work forces our barber shop is thriving and what better way to say thank you than to give a little something back. So we've teamed up with Apex Foyle food club which is a fantastic c...harity that helps families who are in food poverty and with the help of the food club it allows them to do a weekly shop at a reduced rate, offers counselling, debt management and help getting employment! So all we ask from our fantastic customer's is a donation in aid of a free haircut on Monday 3rd December!

true professionals at stairway Barbershop been coming here since it has opened always been greeted with a smile with pete and all his staff cant recommend a better barbershop.

Took my twins down today for their easter haircut and to make a donation on their charity day. Top class service can not recommend the stairway barbers enough. The two boys absolutely love their haircuts. Peter, leanne and your team you all give a first class service. We will def be back again.

Took my 2 boys here on Saturday morning for the first time and 1 of them hates getting his hair cut, he is really bad, screaming and has to be held down so i was really nervous but i sent them a message first to let them know and they said to bring him down and they would try. It was the best experience he has ever had, he sat up on the chair himself and had his hair cut with very little fuss compared to normal. They gave him a wee charity box and a bag of coins to put in it which really helped him settle. This will be our regular barbers from now on and I can't thank the 2 fellas enough for making it such a calm experience for a change!!

They all do a top class job. Great friendly shop and always made more than welcome. Definitely recommend. �

Just had an amazing hot towel shave and a haircut feel like a different man highly recommended treat for that special man in ur life.

It might be 'just a haircut' to some but when you have a 2 year old who doesn't like noise it becomes an experience! We were dreading the visit to the barbers and kept putting it off. When the child's hair just couldn't be tamed any longer we knew it was a needs must. When we entered, Peter greeted us with a smile and a 'what's the craic?' The layout of the barbershop allowed our wee fella to quietly scope the place, whilst watching Monsters inc on the iPad. When the time came, Leanne called the wee fella over and instantly made him feel at ease. He was given treats and pretty much anything that kept him occupied. About half way through the cut he began to flinch, we expected the worst. He was then turned to face me as I had my hair cut, a brilliant move, as it settled him. He left extremely happy and we left extremely relieved! I would not hesitate to recommend the place, especially for those with children. True professionals. Thanks again.

I would like to say a big thankyou to Leanne for what I can only describe as top class service today at the shop. I loved every minute of my wet towel shave experience & quality hair cut. The process was so relaxing and I felt like a new person afterwards. The staff are very professional & friendly. I would highly recommend everyone to book in and treat yourself to the shave experience, you won't be disappointed. Thanks again
