Yoga4Tango Description
Yoga4Tango is a dynamic vinyasa flow yoga class with fluid motions using the breath. I will give different options for pacing yourselves, you can either be sweating bucket loads or take it nice and easy early on and build it up on a weekly basis.
We will be working on improving the body awareness and making the mind body connection. The sequences used in the class will help with:
- improving alignment all the way from the feet to the crown of the head to provide stability on the dance floor
- opening the hips and hip stability to give freedom to the free leg in moves like ochos, planeos, boleos
- build core strength to achieve the smoothness during movement
- twisting technique to make the disassociations really enjoyable
- opening up of the chest /heart to help with the posture
About me and Yoga4Tango:
I am Winston Veerender. I am a certiied Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow Yoga teacher accredited by the Yoga Alliance UK. I rediscovered yoga along with roughly the same time I found Tango. Yoga4Tango is a result of me applying yoga principles to manage the body and mind while being in a regular office job, playing cricket and dancing Tango during my free time. Yoga4Tango is meant for improving Tango and general fitness with a nice balance in body and mind.
