Who we are - Paul Morton - Director
Paul formed 108 logistical and did so with a wealth of knowledge in cycling. Paul served as a Police Officer for 10 years in Kent. During his time in the Police he worked on the logistical teams for 2007 Tour de France, 2012 London Olympics and 2012 Paralympics as well as acting as route safety driver and peloton safety supervisor for the Tour of Britain since 2006.
Paul left the Police in 2013 & took up the role of sports event manager at Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research (now Bloodwise) where he delivered London Bikeathon (6500 riders) Birmingham Bikeathon (1500 riders) and 2 successful London to Paris events. He then moved to EDGE and worked on many cycling events including Myeloma UK inaugural London 2 Paris and 2015 Le Tour - One Day Ahead. He is a keen rider and racer and has taken on many cycling challenges over the years himself.
He owns and runs PMR cycle race team who have many successes over the years including 2 World Masters Track champions, 6 National Champions and finished 2016 season ranked 8th in the UK. 108 also supply the ride captains to many charity rides as part of their CSR programme in supporting charities. 2017 saw the successful delivery of the 3 Tours Challenge. 4 Riders riding every grand tour 1 day before the pro race. A huge logistical task but one that gave memories for everybody involved and raised a lot of money for Cure Leukaemia.
