LIKE,SHARE & TAG Friends to be in chance to WIN Tandoori chicken for yourself!!
Tandoori chicken is probably one of the most famous Indian dishes. 😋🇮🇳🍴 :-)
To prepare it, chicken is marinated in a mixture of yogurt and tandoori masala, a spice blend. It is seasoned with cayenne pepper, Tandoori masala, red chilli powder as well as turmeric.
... The marinated chicken is then placed on skewers and cooked at high temperatures in a tandoor oven, which is heated with charcoal or wood, adding to the smoky flavour. The dish can also be cooked in a standard oven, or over hot charcoal.
Tandoori chicken can be eaten as a starter or appetizer, or as a main course, often served with naan flatbread. It is also used as the base of numerous cream-based curries such as butter chicken.

Cardamom is a spice from the ginger family. It has a strong, pungent flavor and aroma, with hints of lemon, mint and smoke.
Cardamom pods contain seeds, but the entire pod can be used whole or ground. There are two main types of cardamom: black cardamom and green cardamom.
A native to Kerala and the forests of the Western Ghats of Southwestern India, cardamom is used in Indian cooking as well as Middle Eastern cuisine. In Indian recipes, whole cardamom pods are used in prepar...ing basmati rice, various curries and masala chai.
In Banaras, we use it various currys like Korma and Tikka Massala and also in our Kulfi dessert. A must-try!

Cinnamon is the bark of an evergreen tree of the laurel family. A native of Sri Lanka, it was known to be used in Egypt at least 4000 years ago. 🌶🌿🍚🍴
The early use of cinnamon was to preserve meat, as the phenols it contains kill the bacteria which cause meat to go off. In Indian cuisine, it is used as part of the marinade in vindaloo and, in conjunction with the other spices, it will preserve meat in hot climates.
Although it is mostly involved in sweet recipes in Western co...untries, in India cinnamon is used in meat and rice dishes. It is a common ingredient in garam masala and can be found in some curry powders.
Cinnamon is believed to have many health benefits. It is a natural antiseptic, helps with digestive issues, diabetes and even rheumatism and other inflammations.
