Bann Valley Fishery

Good afternoon folks opening days for next week are Wednesday and Thursday 9am to dusk and Saturday Sunday the same hope you all have a nice Easter and plenty of chocolate tight lines.

Another picture from yesterday James Mcfadden and his catch James has only been fishing the past year and is hooked to the sport James doesn't have far to travel as its his land so will have plenty of time to master it tight lines mate and keep at it.

Good morning folks only putting post up now as I was home late last night with having had a good work out on my arms. as we didn't have anybody up fishing I decided to start early and have go which turned out to be a great day 16 trout and what I lost wasn't even funny at one stage I thought my hooks were made from rubber lol but what I landed more than made up for it. remember folks we are opened Saturday and Sunday 9am to dusk so why not enjoy a day while the fish are on form tight lines.

I would like to say a big thank you from Angela and myself to the Malcolm family for baby Nathans gifts and card and the lovely message inside your to kind it's fantastic thanks again.

Good afternoon folks from bann valley fishery. today we had the pleasure of James Malcolm with us James has came along way with his casting as he has Parkinson's and had 3 strokes and a pacemaker fitted and didn't think he could fly fish again with not having the full ability in his arm but with patience and determination to prove that it's not getting the better of him from his love of fishing I salute you James well done. James hooked himself 2 browns and lost 3 on a Zulu b...lack with a red tail this is James first fish he has caught since he has came back home to northern ireland from living in South Africa and was over the moon to feel that bite again. It just goes to show never give up on your goal in life stand strong and do your best so thank you so much for making that memory with bann valley fishery it's greatly appreciated and tight lines

I would like to announce the safe arrival of my second son Nathan born yesterday one proud Daddy. opening days will only be weekends as I'm taking 2 weeks of to spend quality time with my family after that we will be back to the normal 4 days thank you and tight lines.

never saw big brownies like it in my life a fantastic lake with fantastic people can't wait to get back

Without doubt the strongest fish you will get in any lake. And the Brownies are monsters. Be prepared to go home with your arm sore. First class fishery and top class staff. Very welcoming and go above and beyond to make you feel at home.

Was up today and the lakes and what a place it is was only up 4 hours and had 3 cracking fish smallest was 5lb but great fighting fish will deffently be back up in the coming weeks for a full day

Was here today got 4 but the size of the fish and the fight they give awesome owners so accommodating free tea coffee biscuits wood burning stove lovely place and will definitely be back. Thank you

The best lake I have ever fished. I would love to live beside it if I could. The fish are huge and incredible fighters. I can't highly recommend this lake enough. I LOVE IT.

Myself and a couple of friend went to Bann Valley Fishery on friday the quality and size of the fish was unbelievable and very friendly staff . We will certainly be back in the near future .

I’ve fished a lot of lakes but this one stands out a mile for the quality and size of the trout lovely big brownies

First time at the fishery today and i have to say its a we cracker of a place credit to gary the fish are in powerfull nick hard fighting browns and rainbows 5 of us fished it as part of the big rainbow hunters fly fishing team and what a day we had with close to 85 or 90 fish between us from lures wets drys buzzers we all fished something different and wernt dissapointed the brown trout are amazing so if you like brown trout and i mean BIG brown trout and rainbows bann valley is the place to go will i go back in a heartbeat thats for sure

First day out this year and it was a pleasure, great sport, strong fish and lovely location will definitely be back.

Cracking we lake with great staff very friendly and great craic now on to the fishing, bring pain killers as your arm will definitely be sore even if you only get a few definitely recommend this lake to anyone ����

Best place I've been to in a long time the fish are big and very hard fighting especially the big brownies....staff very friendly and helpful.. thanks for a great day can't wait to get back up...
