Bdc Bath Dance College Description
Bath Dance College is a newly formed professional peformers course in the city of Bath. Being the only one of its type in the South West of England students will no longer have to travel to London and the North in order to train at a professional level.
Offering an intensive two year Performing Arts Diploma Course for students aged 16 + Bath Dance College aims to prepare students for the Performing Arts Industry and will help them into employment that best suits their own personal ambition.
The intensive two year course aims to prepare students for the professional industry with over 20 hours of classes per week in the disciplines of
Ballet
Contempary
Commerical Dance
Tap
Street / Hip Hop
Singing
Acting
At the end of the course students will be helped either into further education or the professional industry.
Former professionals will lead the course drawing on their own vast experience within the industry, ensuring a first class training.

George Hill Artistic Director of BDC, George trained at the Royal Ballet School and danced professionally with The Royal Ballet, Birmingham Royal Ballet, Dutch National Ballet, Dresden Semperoper Ballet as a soloist. Alongside Ballet George has worked within Film, TV and Musical Theatre, retiring from the stage in 2015 in Westend theatre, The Haymarket, London.
... Jaered Glavin Resident BDC Jazz and Contemporary teacher Jaered trained at the Royal Ballet School. Professional Credits Include: The Royal Ballet, The Royal New Zealand Ballet, Norwegian National Ballet. Jaered has additionally worked internationally as a contemporary and jazz choreographer receiving recognition from Lady Gaga.
Myron Birch Myron trained at LIPA (The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts ) and since then has performed at The Brit Awards, on Strictly Come Dancing, The X factor and The Voice as well as dancing for the likes of Robbie Williams, Little Mix and Jess Glynne. He is currently performing in ‘Thriller Live’ in the Westend.
Michael Stewart Michael trained at The Urdang Academy. Theatre include: Understudy Subway Ghost and Willie Lopez in Ghost, Cesar in Saturday Night Fever, Jesus Christ Superstar, Eddie in Mamma Mia! (UK tour) and Starlight Express
Charles Ruhrmund Charlie trained at Bird College. Theatre credits include: Corny Collins in Hairspray (Westend and UK Tour), Top Hat (Westend), and Chicago (Westend).
