📙 📚 📓 My first book review! 📙 📚 📓
I've not quite finished this one but thought I'd share what I've thought of it so far. This book is written from the perspective of an 11 year old Caitlin who lives with Asperger's . Her brother, Devon, was killed in a school shooting and this book is a very blunt and honest account of her journey to try and achieve closure for herself and her father. It paints a very true picture of the challenges people living with Asperger's face, and has quite dry humour in places. Quite an emotive read, definitely recommend! :)

We had a lovely book party, lots of delicious cake provided, and hot and cold drinks! Plenty of toys for the little ones to play with while the mummys browsed for books,facolotoes were provided ie changing / feeding areas. Everything was thought of!



We ended up buying 4 different books, each of them have a fox on the cover... We have a little obsession!

The illustrations are to dye for! So bright, and the pages not only have the hole to peep through to the next page but cut out bits to provide layers with is a good texture for little man.

We had a great afternoon at Becky’s book party. So many lovely books to choose from it was hard to narrow it down!

We got Are you there little fox? � and peep inside space, both of which my 8 month old has struggled to leave alone this afternoon! Lovely illustrations, bright colours, and the peep inside one has so many fun flaps to lift and “peep inside”!!

Also got “why the kangaroo jumps” which is aimed at older kiddies, but is a lovely story with the moral of discovering our own abilities and accepting yourself. Very sweet tale.
