We went for date night. Food was great, service was relaxed and friendly. The atmosphere was great. This is not going to be the cheapest option but is well worth the small premium.

Try the roasted garlic.

Just like being back in Paris.

We have twice now had lunch downstairs in the bar at Bistro Pierre. Once we both had the steak frites and the other time (yesterday) we both had the hamburger with, amongst other things, Brie and bacon. On both occasions we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience from a good view out towards the pier to excellent, friendly and polite service and hot and delicious food in a great atmosphere. We rated the burgers as probably the best or as good as the best we’ve ever had. We shall certainly go there again and hope to visit for an evening meal some time.

The highlight of Weston-super-Mare, I have nothing but fantastic experiences every time I go.

The service is excellent, the food is delicious and the location is beautiful, what more could you ask for. Highly recommended.

Part of a party of four eating a late lunch on a Saturday. I'm vegetarian and was pleasantly surprised by the range of vegetarian food on the menu. My starter and main course were very tasty and the dessert excellent. A particular mention for our very pleasant waitress who struck the perfect balance between attentiveness and intrusion. Dishes were cleared away promptly and just the right wait between serving courses. Very pleasant table in the window of the restaurant with lovely views. Given the quality of the meal it was very good value for money. I'll definitely be back. Thank you for a very pleasant afternoon's dining..

My children and I took my Husband to Bistrot Pierre for father's day. The menu was excellent value and the service was second to none . Our Waitress for the evening was Katie and nothing was to

much trouble. We all had a wonderful evening and my Husband said it was the best steak he has had in years .

wonderful place will be back very soon x

I have dined here on numerous occasions with my best friend and we love it. We have always found the service to be excellent, the food is always beautiful and well presented and the staff are very friendly. Great music if you love jazz that delicately adds to the ambience of this gorgeous restaurant!!

User

Came today for my birthday...booked as a complete surprise by my boyfriend!! The food and wine was amazing better than I had ever imagined. Was offered to try the wine before we bought a bottle. 3 courses in an hour and a half. Food was cooked to perfection all staff were friendly and helpful on our visit. Will definitely recommend to others and come again in the future. Thanks again

Amazing experience today.

Our waitress was fantastic from start to finish, smiling and helpful through our stay.

The food was divine, well timed and presented beautifully.

This was our first time and without a doubt not our last.

Thank you.

User

Absolutely lovely experience from beginning to end. Our Waitrose (oz girl) made the evening. So attaintive and friendly. The food was lovely and the view was amazing with the sun going down over the pier. Would highly recommend.

User

We have been quite a lot as we are local and the staff are lovely however we were disappointed we were not allowed to sit outside or at the window even though we had booked a table especially, as it was my husbands birthday today. We were told those tables are for four persons or more even though there tables with only two people on some!

User

Came to Weston Super Mare specifically to eat at Bistrot Pierre as regular visitors to Birmingham and Mere Green. We were not disappointed . Loved the architecture of the building and had a lovely table looking out to sea and watching the sun set. We had the dinner with wine, all 3 courses were good, wines matched well and service was very good . Restaurant was very busy and they seemed to cope well . Would definitely return here. Thank you 😀

User

Loved the venue and staff very friendly and quite efficient but very long time to wait for courses. Food is good quality but just very small portions - we needed to ask for more extras!

User

An evening of highs and lows, great venue watching the sunset, a lovely waitress who did her best under the circumstances. Arrived at 6pm on a Sunday evening were seated and handed menu's to be told that they had no chicken, steak or duck so a good part of the menu off limits. I ordered a beefburger but was told that also was off, oh well I will have the lamb guess what they didn't have that either! So I had fish goodness knows what they offered to people who arrived after us. We struggled through 3 courses selecting alternatives all the way through. We did discuss this with the Manager afterwards, he said sorry but I think he had our £140 in his till and couldn't care less. I'd suggest sending Gordon Ramsey in but I don't think that would drag him out of his condescending ways.

We went last night, 8 of us. We waited over an hour for starters another hour and had to complain as still no sign of mains. Barely an apology, service was poor. Mains came out and most were sent back as awful. We only paid for the drinks bill in the end, but to be fair that’s the least they could do given it ruined our evening. We’ve been several times and always good, first time in a larger group and wow what a disappointment. They were extremely busy but that’s no excuse if a restaurant can’t cope with the demand they shouldn’t take the bookings. Its false economy when having to right off entire bills! I hate leaving bad reviews but it really was appalling.

Saturday, midday, amazing sunshine...no one on the bar! I dont know why you would be so short staffed in any circumstances let alone on this occasion when you are obviously going to be fairly busy. We waited to be served drinks to enjoy outside, part of our order was a champange cocktail, she poured 1/4 of a glass and ran out, checked the fridge and wandered off, she came back with a couple more bottles that had obviously been stored out the back somewhere and not in a fridge and finished making the drinks handing them over, they were warm. We sat outside, a couple of our chairs were broken so we had to swap them over, We decided we couldnt drink the warm champenge so I went in to get some ice, no one behind the bar again, I waited, a couple of memebers of staffed hovered around chatting and one girl cleared an empty table before someone eventually came over. Despite this lack of service as we dont know weston well we thought we would return shortly after for lunch. We were told by the manager if we hadnt booked there was nothing for another hour, he didnt offer us to book or anything and just walked off. We spoke to someone at the bar who was rude and had an almost cocky and considering tone as if we were idiots to think we could dine there without booking, he told us there was nothing at all, when we explained the manager said there would be a table in an hour he muttered he would check in 5 mins. We decided not to wait. Rude, poor service and a bad attitude towards customers, I understand you are busy and alot of your customers on sunny days are probably vistors who wont return to the area but there custom should still be welcomed.

I have to rate somewhere in the middle due today’s experience. I’ve eaten here 4 or 5 times. I hear a lot of complaints about the food, slow service, poor service etc. I myself have always enjoyed my meal and I don’t mind a slow-ish service as I am generally out to enjoy the evening. I’ve mostly been served by the same lady who is lovely and gives an excellent service. The food has always been absolutely lovely, along with the cocktails. The bar downstairs is also lovely and has a nice feel in the evenings.

However... My family and I decided to choose Bistrot Pierre for Mother’s Day. On booking our table for 10 people, all that was taken was a name and telephone number. We turned up today expecting our table to be ready, instead we were greeted with an arrogant attitude with “well we called you for a deposit and couldn’t get hold of you so we have made the decision to give away your table”. At no point were we told we had to pay a deposit, otherwise obviously we would have paid one. We also checked the number they phoned and it was one digit wrong... I see this as the Bistrot’s mistake, not ours. Accidental but nonetheless not our mistake. I feel that the staff were very defensive rather than apologetic and helpful. I completely understand a human error and mix up, i also understand it’s an extremely busy day so we cannot be fitted in, but what I don’t understand is why nobody was particularly sorry, I would have expected “We are so sorry this has happened, we can’t apologise enough, please come back on another day so we can do something to put this right”. Instead it was put that it was all our fault that we hadn’t paid a deposit. Which i state again... we were never asked for. I’ve never heard of putting the blame on the customer. I feel that it was all down to an honest mistake, on the restaurants behalf and miss communication, but the attitude in which it was all dealt with was appalling.

Food was great, really enjoyed the main courses. The staff were not attentive at all, definitely didn’t expect it in this kind of place. Disappointed, have rated it a 2 star simply for the food being delicious.
