Would like to thank Donald and all the staff for a fantastic meal at affordable prices. My partner Jacqueline and I really enjoyed our meals and can I say the combination for 2 as a starter was amazing will definitely be back ����

With the bad snow we've had, my Husband myself and daughter found ourselves off work. So we decided to walk down to our village black Bull pub. We booked a table on the way down. Glad we did as a lot of people had the same idea as us. But just because they were busy our service did not suffer. I'm following the slimming world eating plan so I went with steak and they were happy to swap chips for a baked potato. The food was really nice, served fairly quickly considering the amount of people who decended on them. I believe it was the owner who served us. He was very nice indeed. Look forward to our next visit.

We held my Dads funeral tea here this afternoon. It was superb, staff great and the chef very accommodating to individual needs. Would highly recommend. Thank you for your first class service!!

We had our daughters Christening at the Black Bull and can only say how amazing it was. From preparation weeks and days before to on the day last minute changes due to some dietary requirements, Donald and his team could not have done enough for us and nothing was any trouble. All our guests commented on how amazing the food was as well as the bar service! We can't thank you enough! Would highly recommend! �

We are locals to this pub, they have a good little atmosphere, good food and a great DJ/ karaoke at the week end. We celebrated my daughters 21 st here too last night in their lovely function room at the back and we all had a great night, helpful staff and great music!

Visited The Blac Bull on Sunday 20th May With friends. The food was very tasty and the portions generous.

The waiting staff were very efficient at delivering the meals and clearing away the completed courses.

10/10 for the staff not only for the food but for the way they cared for their customers.

The blackbull is a great place to go for a meal and night out very friendly relaxing place staff are excellent I would recommend it to any one

Round of applause for Donald and all the staff who worked their socks off on Chrismtas day. Food was amazing. Hope you all managed to finally enjoy Christmas with your families once we had all gone.x

I had my 40th birthday party in the private function room on Friday evening, what a fantastic night. Every single one of my guests between family and friends, had a fabulous time celebrating my party with me.

Donald was great at organising everything, from the cost of the hall - to the different packages available, the chefs put on a tasty buffet spread which was enjoyed by all, and the bar service was spot on all night. Thank you to the management team & all the staff for contributing to my birthday celebrations. A job well done - would highly recommend The Black Bull as an all round pub and private function venue.

Had an a amazi g lunch had Malaysian chicken curry to die for. Cant wait to hear irs back on. Hubby had fish and chips said it was first class.followed by ferro roche cheese cake.



Second time in there in a week cant wait to go back, food, service, everything perfect highly reccomended

Food was delish beer was cold and the bar staff put the snooker on for us. Great local pub.

Food and everything awesome as always. Great food at great price

Attended a whisky tasting evening. Great experience. Over 30 people there with 5 different whiskies to taste. Good banter throughout the evening and as it was close to burns night we all got a plate of haggis neeps and tatties. Thoroughly recommend it and will be going again.

Absolutely fantastic food and service. Will definitely be back.

lovely food. great service. took my 4 year old niece and she is obsessed with chicken nuggets. without us even asking the barman quickly said he would ask the chef if he could make us some from fresh - which he very kindly did.



Felt the lounge although comfortable was slightly dated and could have done with nicer table cloths. Apart from this wee grumble - everything else was top notch.
