Sun coming up... time to open!

Our bread is baked in store!

Such a find, outstanding customer service, fantastic array of food and drinks available. Myself and my son spent a lovely hour watching the baker at work whilst eating cake. Amazing place, don't ever change a thing. :)

Stopped here today for a cup of tea, couldn't believe how much choice there was available.

We all settled with a pie/quiche to eat in and when we discovered how delicious they were I ended up with a big selection to take home for my husband to try.

Along with some cakes. The staff were all really friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Will be recommending you to friends and family and can't wait to bring my husband to see the wide variety that I had to choose from. I could of bought the lot.

The wide array of variously local, organic, wholesome, traditional, quaint, unusual, and attractive produce and in-store baked items was extensive and appealing.

Following a delicious 'small pie' (not so small, and came nicely plated, with salad, etc.), a cake item and coffee, all taken in the homely, friendly and (of course) independent village trader-like atmosphere, along with pleasant chat with the staff, we finally tore ourselves away after about 50 minutes, full up and bearing a selection of cheeses, flour, (more cakes), and sweets; (calories in mind, managed to resist even more, different, confectionery),

The only disappointment is residing about 4 hours away from Chewton, so can't take frequent advantage of Bread & Beyond's existence, but will certainly be calling in again next time of being nearby (don't think will ever manage to be in the area without thinking of some excuse to stop by and indulge).

This is one B & B not to be missed, and although they can't give you a bed for the night ( :) ), I doubt you'll be disappointed in other respects if you visit : Long may this great place survive and flourish!
