The moon is still up, and so are the abseilers doing Leaps of Faith!! Amazing job!!

User

We went yesterday and had a Champagne Afternoon Tea, the whole experience from start to finish was amazing. I couldnt fault anything. Lovely venue, brilliant atmosphere, gorgeous food and staff terrific. Will definitely go back

User

We had a lovely Mother’s Day meal here yesterday. We were given plenty of time to look at the menus but the drinks were a little slow in arriving. The food was delicious, we all had roasts and the chocolate pot desserts and lemon tart were to die for. The staff were very helpful , friendly and interacted with my 3 year grandson, who wanted cream on his ice cream!! A very enjoyable meal and atmosphere, we will definitely return.

User

Was my birthday me my partner Hayley had amazing experience food drinks and service was top class could not fault it in anyway amazing ambiance we will be going back again

User

Staff were friendly and attentive (Yee Lin was fabulous) , the food was well cooked and presented, the environment was smart and comfortable. Chose from the early evening menu, choice of 4 dishes for each course. Chicken and ham pie didn't come with vegetables but that was ok. Salmon fishcake was lovely (don't be put off by horseradish). Elderflower and gin posset finished dinner rather nicely. Husband had steak which he enjoyed and was cooked how he wanted it. Happy to recommend and return.

User

Lovely dinner and drinks with friends on Saturday night! Great service and good price

User

Great food, drinks and staff! Would definitely recommend.

User

Fantastic food, service and dining environment! A little bit pricey. But we’re in Bath!

User

Excellent food today, really enjoyed the Sunday roast! Service was friendly and attentive. We will be back!

User

Excellent food and service in central historic location. Big shout out to Yee Lin our waitress who was absolutely lovely. Highly recommend

User

A great evening out celebrating a friends Birthday. Paolo our waiter was first class. The new spring menu was very good..plenty of choice .we particularly enjoyed the English Garden G&T as suggested by Paolo.very good value without compromise.

User

Visited yesterday, great place to eat we have been before which is why we returned. Not disappointed food was great the selection of cocktails is always reason enough to visit too.

Our waitress was Jess she was so friendly and pleasant, very organised and accommodating I would imagine she is an asset to their business well done Jess.

The four stars was due to some minor improvements I feel could be made to

Make this experience perfect.

Glass ware is getting stained from the dishwashers so a keen eye needs to address that before putting out for service, and the toilets for such a lovely resturant with great views they let the place down slightly, tiles tidied and a lick of paint should do it.

Would I visit again absolutely 😌

User

Visited Saturday evening at 7pm, great atmosphere after the rugby, staff very attentive, food was delicious.

User

Lovely sitting on the terrace enjoying our coffee in the sun, with a beautiful view of the cathedral.

User

Enjoyable lunch. After a mix up with the booking we were quickly seated and given menus. We were given vouchers for a free aperol spritzer and although they looked nice they tasted of water so wish I hadn’t of bothered. The waitress was lovely and friendly and our ordered for food taken quickly. The sourdough lobster prawn and avocado was a nice dish and my two sisters had the same. Unfortunately my mums kamb was chewy and tough and she couldn’t eat quite a bit of it but wouldn’t complain. Overall it was a nice afternoon but the quality of the meat let it down for Mum.

User

Always a good place to eat but today was disappointing food not up to standard hopefully just a bad day

User

Our waitress was brilliant and very entertaining

A tad disappointed with the food not even a salad garnish with my club sandwich and my husband didn't feel his meal was warm enough

I am sure it must say in the small print about the service charge although we didn't read it and it so annoys me I would rather leave at tip at my discretion

User

Was okay, but for two of our group who had ordered the club sandwich it came without any bacon in it. We had already waited nearly an hour for our food and they said they would try and replace the sandwich but we were going to see the rugby so we didn’t have time. Supposedly because it was a bank holiday weekend it was busy!!!! Really

User

This was a birthday treat for me but unfortunately we had a poor experience. At the time of booking we confirmed I was dairy and gluten free but this caused huge confusion and a let down with the food that came. This seemed to turn trigger a whole host of other problems. So although a lovely setting, both the food and service was poor.

User

Such a mixed experience from this restraunt, after our window table being given to someone else we finally got seated 20 mins after arrival, to then meet the most lovely waitress who went above and beyond her job role im just gutted i didn't get her name as she truley was an asset to this place and its service team! The chef cooked one meal wrong which we understabd mistakes happen but she then had to eat 20 mins later on her own after we had all finished, the waitress then requested like wed asked from her manager if that meal could be complimentary which i don't think is a massive ask considering the circumstances? I don't know what happened but he finally came over and agreed to ammend the bill, very short and blunt, no sorrys or attentive service at all. We then saw our lovely waitress crying and upset I don't know what happened but it doesnt seem like rocket science to me from previously working in the industry, very unprofessional and a shame that decent staff aren't treated with respect, a let down to other browns that we've visited and highly rated. On a plus though food was delicious.
