Our new Lunchtime Offer Starting 23rd July

went there to a colleagues 50th Birthday. her family arranged a surprise for her.

They had the a room to right as you go in. i think there were about 30ish there. well done to the chefs/cooks and waiting staff, we all enjoyed as far as i could see and the timing was well organised for so many individual meals.

All my colleagues/ friends the table i sat with, thoroughly enjoyed their meals. we all had something different and my steak i have to say was cooked perfectly, exactly how i like it.

i would highly recommend the butchers arms, to cope with a group that size and other individual guests in the other part ot the restaurant, well done.

we came as a party this afternoon and have to say the food was outstanding.. the staff were a pleasure and the whole place felt comfortable to be in, will most surly be back again soon. thank you to all the staff.

What can I say? We celebrated my partners birthday here and everything was amazing! We were a big group and the service was second to none. Everyone commented how lovely the food tasted. All the staff were friendly and couldnŌĆÖt have been more helpful. I would highly recommend.

Went for a quiet meal with my beautiful wife on New YearŌĆÖs Eve. All I can say is that the steak dinner we both had exceeded expectations and service was flawless.

We went for my Dad's 70th birthday and I must say I couldn't fault anything!! Food was amazing!! Staff were excellent very attentive but not overwhelming!! We were able to enjoy the occasion without interruption!! Definitely recommend it and will surely return!! Great place xx

We had a fabulous evening last night, we were a party of 20 and the service leading up to the evening and the evening itself was amazing. The staff were very accomadating and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Every one loved their food, thank you so much can't wait to visit again xx

Had a wonderful lunch here today. We visited as two families with babies and the waiting staff could not have been more accommodating. When one baby needed feeding when our meals had just arrived (perfect timing as babies always have) the very kind waiter offered to keep the dad's meal warm or feed baby! What a lovely guy!



Everyone was delighted with their meal, each of our three courses was faultless. The scallops in particular were superb!



We will be back!

I've always had very tasty steaks there never had a bad one to be honest and we love the Monday /Tuesday steak meal deals great staff lovely welcome

Had homemade nachos with beef chilli to start, and 8oz sirloin with diane sauce for main with a side of cheesy garlic bread. It was beautiful! Thanks for the lovely food and service. Highly recommend

Had an amazing meal tonight. The smoked haddock chowder starter was the best I have ever tasted. Superb steak also. Service was brilliant. Thank you xxxxx

Can't fault this pub at all. We were looking for a dog friendly pub and thought we'd give you a try as we drove past. Our dog was treated as good as us!! We didn't fancy a Sunday dinner so the waitress asked the chef if he would do some sandwiches for us. Hot turkey or beef with a jug of gravy. Heaven!! Amazing service. Amazing staff. Highly recommend x

Have eaten here many times including Christmas Day last year and it's always very good with polite and attentive staff. I had lunch there yesterday with a group of 5 friends and found that the prices have been become quite inflated... ┬Ż6.25 for all desserts... mine was a very small square of brownie and a small dessert spoon size of ice cream , which was delicious but very small! I had the bacon, cockles and laver bread linguine, which again was a very small portion and very little evidence of cockles or bacon, I found it quite 'gloopy' too. As I say the staff were excellent but were very busy with Christmas parties and failed to offer black pepper or parmesan cheese for the pasta. So... disappointed on this occasion but will still visit again in year future.

Ok for food not just for a drink think the New Lodge has hit trade hence the change in menu staff don't seem happy if you only want a drink bring back the live bands and open fire
