UPDATE!! We had an unprecedented number of responses to our appeal and this kitten has been lucky enough to find a lovely home! We're sorry to anyone disappointed as we had so many messages and calls but as always we have to operate a 'first come' policy when a suitable caring home becomes available as it's in the pets best interest. However, we have had a customer contact us looking for homes for 4 x 6 week old kittens - one white, three black and white - if you're still in...terested in rehoming a kitten please ring the practice and we can pass on details. 🏖🍦 Are your pets sun worshippers or shade huggers? 🍦🏖 Here’s vet Jennie’s dog Dougal caught out by the security camera letting himself out the window for a cheeky sunbathe! As the weatherman predicts another 2 weeks of summer days, remember to keep your pets cool and comfortable by providing fresh cool water and ice, inventive games like a paddling pool with floating toys and keeping walks to early morning and late evening and avoiding hot tarmac surfaces. We’ve seen a couple of cases of sunburn this week so remember to apply sun cream to any thinly haired or pale areas such as ears, the bridge of the nose or baldy tummies!

Our X-ray from last night was poor little Pixie. 🙀🙀🙀 The diagnosis was what we vets call a ‘linear foreign body’ which means a stringy type thing stuck in the intestines. As the string becomes trapped the normal motion of the intestines causes them to bunch up like a pair of curtains when pulled open. This often leads to the string cheese wiring through the intestine wall😱😱😱
... Thankfully little Pixie’s owners were on the ball, got her to us in time and multiple enterotomy incisions later she was back to her purring self again. Well done to all who got the answer correct’😁😁😁

Handsome Duke came to stay for a few days after breaking his leg. Being used to a biscuit treat every evening we were surprised when he refused it the first night. After talking to his owners it seems he only likes his biscuits buttered😂

Yesterday morning we went in enquiring about the kittens, Natasha took us down to meet the kittens and from there we took Bella home, today bella was experiencing problems with using her litter and Natasha was able to help us out to the point where she is now using her litter. My experience in campsite veterinary centre was very positive and all the staff that we came in touch with where very helpful.

Yesterday I took Charly to Campsie veterinary practice as usual the reception staff were wonderful, all very pleasant. We then went in to see Kieran Charlys vet,, who explained in every detail what was going to happen,, in fact drew up a pic for me to understand exactly what he was going to do...I cannot praise Kieran an all staff at this practice enough..

Thank-you all..Charly is recovering wonderful.. feeling sorry for him self ~~ but he is a man.....xxxx....

Very grateful to Chloe and everyone else who helped my husky over the past few days. So thankful to have Rosie back to her normal self

This practice have been great with our westie as he has a skin problem. He may not look great but the medication we have him on thanks for Campsie vets maintains it and keeps him the best he can with the condition he has and stops him from getting any worse

They were just so good when I had my baby pup there that's what I called my wee man .He was 17 years went he pass away .They were just so kind and caring.They put him first and did all they could for him ,and looked after us to be there with him in the end �

The guys here are great. They done

everything they could for my 14 year old cat buttons. They extended her life comfortably where she had no seizures or any sickness for 8 months. And for that I will be forever great full because I got to have her a little bit longer and I got to spoil her even more in her final months with me.

Thanks so much for Looking after Jagger especially at such sort notice as well. Well and truely on the mend now. ��

Thank you Kieran for taking the time to sit with my frightened whippet Charlie today until she (eventually) took a treat. She was rescued and clearly has had some bad experiences before I got her. Big greyhound sister Birdie enjoyed the treats too!

Our wee cat princess had to be put to sleep such a dignified vet Ciaran was during this difficult time. All staff were wonderful and the care Princess received was second to none. Thanks so much.

Myself and my wife would like to thank all the staff for the professional and dignified way they dealt with storm today! Thank yous very much!!

My wife Julie and I would like to express our greatest gratitude to vets John, Cathal and Kieran and indeed all the other staff involved, in saving our Doberman Jessie's life. Jessie's stomach had twisted and without emergency surgery would certainly have died. Despite the late night/ early morning procedure, we received a call immediately after Jessie's operation and photo updates of her progress during the early hours of the morning which was greatly appreciated and reassuring. The care Jessie received was second to none !.Whilst understandably feeling poorly for a week or so after the operation, ( me... not the dog � ) Jessie has gone from strength to strength . Her follow up scan with vet Kieran showed her operation had been 100% successful. With her stitches now removed she is doing some light exercise and back to her usual self. Thanks again to all the staff at Campsie Veterinary Centre. You are all a credit to your profession and we can highly recommend you to anyone with a pet! Best Wishes, Ricky, Julie and Jessie Meyler.

I've known one of the vets, Kieran, for a number of years and he has always dealt with our rescue animals with profession, dignity and never gives up at the first hurdle. Trying everything he can to help. Not only is he a very talented veterinarian but is also a great people person and treats his clients with equal kindness. I had a wee dog that had to be put to sleep, she had a really bad skin condition and the staff were just remarkable in such a painful time..very friendly and very understanding..I would like to thank everyone for there help throughout our visits

I cannot emphasise enough how good this vetinary practice is. Our beautiful chocolate lab had the misfortune of getting very ill and had to stay in the vets overnight. the staff and vet Kieran kept me informed throughout and ensured Misty was comfortable. They have such a genuine care for the animals. I am always sure that my dog is in good hands while under their care. Campsie vet centre made a worrying time for us as owners easier due to their compassion towards misty. Thankyou ever so much.

I called in on Saturday to your Open day and took a tour of the new practice. I was very impressed with the facilities and the staff I met were very friendly and professional.

I (and my dogs) are absolutely delighted with the professional, courteous service we have been receiving.

Have a shar pei called marley and have him for 3 years now and he has always been suffering from ear problems constantly have to fork out vet bills to other vets, the wife told me about kieran in the veta who straight away new what to do with marley. Can't fault this place at all and as for marley he is the happiest I have ever seen thanks again!

Been going here for years and when our elderly dog was sick they treated him and us with such respect and dignity. Also helped our cat with his skin condition which is now thankfully under control

An amazing vets that care so much for all the animals brought to them �

Always treated compassionately and professionally when visiting the vet centre, excellent modern clinic setting.

Yesterday morning we went in enquiring about the kittens, Natasha took us down to meet the kittens and from there we took Bella home, today bella was experiencing problems with using her litter and Natasha was able to help us out to the point where she is now using her litter. My experience in campsite veterinary centre was very positive and all the staff that we came in touch with where very helpful.

Yesterday I took Charly to Campsie veterinary practice as usual the reception staff were wonderful, all very pleasant. We then went in to see Kieran Charlys vet,, who explained in every detail what was going to happen,, in fact drew up a pic for me to understand exactly what he was going to do...I cannot praise Kieran an all staff at this practice enough..

Thank-you all..Charly is recovering wonderful.. feeling sorry for him self ~~ but he is a man.....xxxx....

This practice have been great with our westie as he has a skin problem. He may not look great but the medication we have him on thanks for Campsie vets maintains it and keeps him the best he can with the condition he has and stops him from getting any worse

They were just so good when I had my baby pup there that's what I called my wee man .He was 17 years went he pass away .They were just so kind and caring.They put him first and did all they could for him ,and looked after us to be there with him in the end �

The guys here are great. They done

everything they could for my 14 year old cat buttons. They extended her life comfortably where she had no seizures or any sickness for 8 months. And for that I will be forever great full because I got to have her a little bit longer and I got to spoil her even more in her final months with me.

Thanks so much for Looking after Jagger especially at such sort notice as well. Well and truely on the mend now. ��

Thank you Kieran for taking the time to sit with my frightened whippet Charlie today until she (eventually) took a treat. She was rescued and clearly has had some bad experiences before I got her. Big greyhound sister Birdie enjoyed the treats too!

Our wee cat princess had to be put to sleep such a dignified vet Ciaran was during this difficult time. All staff were wonderful and the care Princess received was second to none. Thanks so much.

My wife Julie and I would like to express our greatest gratitude to vets John, Cathal and Kieran and indeed all the other staff involved, in saving our Doberman Jessie's life. Jessie's stomach had twisted and without emergency surgery would certainly have died. Despite the late night/ early morning procedure, we received a call immediately after Jessie's operation and photo updates of her progress during the early hours of the morning which was greatly appreciated and reassuring. The care Jessie received was second to none !.Whilst understandably feeling poorly for a week or so after the operation, ( me... not the dog � ) Jessie has gone from strength to strength . Her follow up scan with vet Kieran showed her operation had been 100% successful. With her stitches now removed she is doing some light exercise and back to her usual self. Thanks again to all the staff at Campsie Veterinary Centre. You are all a credit to your profession and we can highly recommend you to anyone with a pet! Best Wishes, Ricky, Julie and Jessie Meyler.

I've known one of the vets, Kieran, for a number of years and he has always dealt with our rescue animals with profession, dignity and never gives up at the first hurdle. Trying everything he can to help. Not only is he a very talented veterinarian but is also a great people person and treats his clients with equal kindness. I had the pleasure of using the practice this week and would highly recommend them. Keep up the great work.

I just wanted to express my thanks and gratitude towards campsie vets and every one of the staff. Thank you all so much for looking after our Toby's health for the past 8 years. It is so reassuring to have a vet you can trust, who you know has your precious pets interest at heart and really cares. Even at the end your care and compassion made a very upsetting time much easier to bare. Receiving your sympathy card this morning was a bittersweet experience but very heartfelt and warming, it really means a lot. Toby’s paw prints are something I will treasure forever. Thank you.

I cannot emphasise enough how good this vetinary practice is. Our beautiful chocolate lab had the misfortune of getting very ill and had to stay in the vets overnight. the staff and vet Kieran kept me informed throughout and ensured Misty was comfortable. They have such a genuine care for the animals. I am always sure that my dog is in good hands while under their care. Campsie vet centre made a worrying time for us as owners easier due to their compassion towards misty. Thankyou ever so much.

I called in on Saturday to your Open day and took a tour of the new practice. I was very impressed with the facilities and the staff I met were very friendly and professional.

I (and my dogs) are absolutely delighted with the professional, courteous service we have been receiving.

Have a shar pei called marley and have him for 3 years now and he has always been suffering from ear problems constantly have to fork out vet bills to other vets, the wife told me about kieran in the veta who straight away new what to do with marley. Can't fault this place at all and as for marley he is the happiest I have ever seen thanks again!

Been going here for years and when our elderly dog was sick they treated him and us with such respect and dignity. Also helped our cat with his skin condition which is now thankfully under control
