Causeway Coast Holiday Park Description

Causeway Coast Holiday park is nestled on a mature 28 acre park and commanding breath-taking views over Ballycastle Bay, the cliffs of Fairhead and Rathlin Island.
Ballycastle is an idyllic seaside town situated on the spectacular North Antrim coast, the beach is only a short stroll from the holiday park.
Just a 15 minute drive from the world famous Giants Causeway and Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, it is the perfect base from which to explore Northern Ireland's magical Causeway Coast and the Glens of Antrim. Activities in and around Ballycastle include, golfing, pony trekking and sea angling. For that lazy family day, enjoy a splash in the indoor heated swimming pool, or the sea breeze from the outdoor children's play area.
After all the leisure activities of the day, you can return to the Holiday Village and relax in the comfort of your own accommodation.

We have stayed here annually for the past few years, having stayed in an apartment, wooden chalet and this time the Swiss lodge. Great fun for all the family and the staff are friendly and helpful xx

User

We are currently staying here in a mobile home through children's Heart Beat Trust. We are having a fabulous time. The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to make the kids feel welcome. We attended the kids disco yesterday on site and they sang happy birthday to our daughter and the chef came out and gave her a free birthday cake. Today we went in for a late lunch and the bar man came out from behind the bar to play games with the kids. The swimming pool is class for kids and the lovely receptionist gave our daughter a wee birthday teddy bear. The food is lovely and service 1st class. We do not want to go home. Thanks guys. Xx

User

This was a great place to stay had a great time great facilities and great people special shout out to Rob for A1 service and great entertainment also Lisa and Paraic for being very friendly will be back again thanks guys

This is our last night in the Swiss lodge and we have had a brilliant time. The lodge had plenty of space for our family of four and is well equipped. We had an issue with the fridge in the lodge, spoke to a member of staff and they had someone over to fix the issue within 10 minutes. The only downside for us was that the baby pool was closed due to a broken part, the main pool was still open but our kids were too young to use it. All the staff that we spoke to were fantastic, they were all friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Can’t wait to come back in September

Stayed over the weekend recently, arrived on a beautiful saturday afternoon but despite the changable weather over the next couple of days, still had a great time on site. With great entertainment put on for the children in a separate area, indoor pool and chute, good wee park when its dry, great food and equally good pints. Will be back,

Just back from a great weekend at Causeway Coast staying in one of the chalets. I have been several times over the years but feel they have definitely put a lot of time and money into the place recently. The Gawn Inn is beautiful, really family friendly wee bar and the entertainment was great - Rob 'the beard' was brilliant and really got everyone in the holiday spirit. Can't wait to go back .

I’m currently staying in one of the recently refurbished one bed apartments on the complex. Please don’t heed any previous reviews on these as it nearly put me off going! We got a deal for 3 nights for £130! The rooms consist of a living area with 2 leather sofa beds, a refurbished bathroom with shower, a bedroom with a triple sleeper, wardrobe and desk with drawers. The kitchen is adequate and everywhere is spotless. We have a ground floor apartment with patio doors and terrace. It’s basic everything you would want and the same space you would get in a static caravan. I’m with my partner and 3 children. There’s a walk in ‘cupboard’ where we were able to put the travel cot so it doesn’t get in the way. There’s no ‘condiments’ as such. So bring your own towels, tea towel, shower gel, hand wash, tea coffee etc. The bedding is included and the mattresses are new on the beds. It’s all been newly repainted. There’s still ongoing renovations is some of the apartments. The bar has been refurbished and the kids loved the mini disco last night. We ate in the bar last night and the food was lovely and decently priced. They do a half board deal, if you fancied it. I think it’s £14 for adults and £6 for kids. The pool is fantastic and even though it’s bank holiday weekend it’s not overly busy. The pool area is warm and there is a charge for it but that’s to be expected. It looks like there’s a baby pool too but unfortunately it’s not open at present. The kids are having a ball. The park is safe for the kids to be out and about and the play park area is a brilliant addition with picnic benches, slides, etc and a small area to play football/basketball. There also seems to be a forest area but we haven’t ventured up there yet. All in all I’m looking forward to our next two nights here and will be looking to book here in the future!

Brilliant holiday park. Third visit over the years.... Three different types of accommodation.... This year in a chalet. Two bedrooms one double bed and another with bunk beds and a single bed. Very clean with everything we needed. Bar/restaurant on site was excellent having recently been refurbished. Manager was excellent....with kid friendly disco which I managed to get time wrong and we missed it..... He put on some tunes especially for our 3kids... Which they danced the night away till!! Thank you so much for that. Kids movie on the Sat night as well..... One small suggestion may be a bigger TV in the kids area would help with the atmosphere and maybe some sort of partition would help with noise... Only small ideas ..... Swimming pool brilliant with life guards on duty.

Arrived back in Scotland today after a great week at Causeway Coast holiday park. We stayed in an apartment which was very clean and comfortable. Only downside was not having a proper fridge freezer as the little fridge was very small and no use for a family of five. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The entertainment at the weekend was good family fun. Not much for kids during the week but it was off season having said that Rob with the beard and his wife kindly supplied the kids with art stuff to keep them occupied great stuff thanks for that. Hopefully we will be back some day and I would definitely recommend the park to others. Thanks again for everything. All the best from Bonnie Scotland
