we where involved in our 2nd coastal plastic clean up this week at the Giants Causeway. the amount of this stuff washed ashore is sickening

Causeway Boats - open boat 'species hunt' fishing competition dates - venue Portrush Harbour.
We are proud to be hosting an autumn boat fishing competition. format is species hunt, with points based on scored sheet.
prizes
... awarded both days- 1st place £100, 2nd place £65, 3rd £45. last place gets jar of jam. plus raffle on the day. Our Christmas competition has a turkey for longest whitefish. all prizes will be awarded in Portrush Yacht Club after the event.
booking- strictly pre-book in advance only as numbers are limited- cost £45 per person. boats leave 10am and lines up at 4pm. bait is NOT provided, register via private message.

Yesterday we got a rather special request- to tow in a 50 foot transatlantic yacht.
7 hour tow yesterday to retrieve a broken down yacht in becalmed seas. the 1936 built classic 'gentleman's racing' yacht was on passage back from East coast America via Iceland when they encountered engine difficulty 10 miles north west of Malin head.
We towed her into Coleraine Harbour and local marine company are repairing the engine for her onward journey to Cowes .

Was out mackerel fishing yesterday evening. Fabulous. Connor was great and especially with the youngest wee lad. Patience of a saint. Still rocking a bit this morning mind you. Great evening and loads of mackerel caught. Thanks Connor for teaching me to fillet.

Top class crew and fishing and the craic is mighty also

Staff team building day from castlerock with the guys and amazing from start to finish, so much fun, great stories and craic the fish were just a bonus!! Everyone should take a trip and experience a memorable day at sea....

Just like to thank Richard and the Causeway Lass for braving the weather conditions on Saturday 28th October 2017 and saving the fireworks display for the Hallowe'en festivities in Portballintrae. Great work.

Just home from the puffin tour and would definitely recommend it, despite poor weather we saw the puffins and lots of other seabirds and were well impressed by the antics of the Guillemots diving for fish scraps.

A lone seal made a brief appearance and we got to see Carrick a Rede from the sea.

We even got a few mackerel and pollack to take home!

Would definitely recommend this trip and look forward to getting out on a fishing trip.

Had an absolutely brilliant day as usual on this charter. Extremely friendly and helpful skipper, took us straight to the mackerel and continued to catch 6 or 7 every single cast in. Highly, highly recommend!

Had a great trip out with the family! Would definitely recommend!

Had a great day out on Wednesday, haven’t done any sea fishing in a long time but had a fantastic day out. Pretty sure everyone caught with a variety of species. If you want to do some sea fishing I couldn’t recommend causeway lass enough. Great skipper and all in all a great experience. I’ll be back for the tope trip next time
