We have just come back from our 4 night stay. Me my husband and my 2 children went and they haven’t stopped saying how much they have loved it. Was a fantastic holiday from start to finish. All the staff friendly and great service. The entertainment was brilliant on an evening and my two children got the chance to stroke a fox and they got up on stage for activities. The caravan was clean and spacious with everything we needed. I will definitely be booking to return next year and I will recommend to everyone.

Thankyou to all the staff at Cayton Bay for making our summer break memorable

We have just come back , we had the dog with us and only booked a basic van on this pet friendly site , the site was clean as was the van , fresh bedding and nice pillows , we didn’t use the complex at all as it was so nice outside we walked n walked , plus we had the dog so didnt want to leave him on his one , cayton beach was so lovely with fluffy sand and rock pools with a nice little hut selling a bit of everything you could need , not very push chair friendly as steep steps to beach and a steep hill to walk back up but worth it for sure , the music was loud in caravan on the eve coming from the club house but saying that it stopped most nights before 11 pm , years ago we would of been in there for sure with the kids , so no complaints at all , we will deffo come here again , thankyou x

Never been here before, absolutely loved it! The caravan wasn't up to scratch however we did book privately and not through the park, entertainment was good, and the Comedy duo made me laugh so much 'gangnam style' ÔøΩÔøΩÔøΩ food reasonably priced in the bar, and was lovely sitting outside in the sun on the deck eating our breakfast, staff all friendly, lovely atmosphere and kids loved it too, plenty to keep them busy. Beach very hilly to get up and down to so not for people with walking difficulties if you want to go to the beach, however caravan park quite flat, bus stop outside into Scarborough Town too..... Will come back had a brill time ÔøΩ

Just got home after a 5 night stay. We've had a fantastic time on site as well as off it.

This is the 3rd time we've visited this park and it gets better every time. We had our first trip here 4 years ago when our oldest was almost a year old, then again before he turned 2 and this year we took our newest edition (5 months old) for his first holiday to Scarborough. My littlest loved the lights and music in the show bar, as did we, our oldest loved spending money in the arcade, I'm surprised we managed to get him home haha.

The trouper team are fantastic, the shows they put on in the evening kept us all entertained and we've laughed so much. (Especially when Brad said he'd give us some points had my other half joined in, then Ryan told him he was holding a baby lol, brad was rather apologetic then) all in good fun. (Spring chicken team table)

I could go on and on about this holiday, will be telling friends for a long time I'm sure, we're already planning to come back for the 4th time!!

Thank you to all the trouper team for the amazing entertainment, to the arcade team (a couple in particular were fantastic), to the bar staff in show bar and also the boat house.

Just got back home today from spending the last 5 days here. Our 5th time at the park we come very year! I’d say this has been one of the best this year especially entertainment wise. The kids disco is amazing! Our caravan was what we expected. The only thing I’d say is the boathouse could do with extra staff especially at busier meal times.

Just got back from a 5 day stay with my partner my grandma and little girl whos 9 we absolutly loved it the caravan was lovely spacious and clean with upgrade for central heating only used at night as the weather was lovely during the day. We had breakfasts 2 mornings in the boathouse bar and grill which was reasonably priced and tasty theres plenty to do for the kids with arcades and activities during the day the pool was nice and clean with a flume theres bingo a little pricey but ok for winnings.

The main thing we enjoyed the most was the entertainment starting around half 6 the starland troopers the gameshows the cabaret was amazing funny and genuinly entertaining throughout my only 1 negative is it finishes around 10 i wish it could of gone on a little longer but every one of the staff work so hard and go out of thier way to be so welcoming, friendly and polite the bar was reasonably priced with a doubles bar and happy hour on coctails we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and cannot wait to come back next year we went off peak time so it was quiet but will deffo come back we recomend it so much

Just back from a 4 day holiday. Site was clean well kept and had everything you needed. The beach across the road is amazing. Steep hill so not the best for people with mobility issues. Dog friendly beach and it has life guards and a shop. I never used the pool but did go to bingo a couple of nights. Would definitely recommend

User

Had an amazing time staff were great and we had a good giggle with them loads for the lil ones to do and our caravan was just perfect can't wait to return for more giggles and kicks

Currently on holiday here this week. We are a family of 6 and have come half board. We had evening meal last night and breakfast this morning and it was absolutley 5ÔøΩ The service is fabulous and all the staff so helpful. We would like to say a big thank you to Danny the assistant manager and Beth. This morning they both went out of their way to make breakfast time stress free by helping me with everything we need. This was much appreciated especially having 4 kids. Please can they both be recognised for this. I serached for reviews on the half board before we paid but couldnt find any but the food is delicious and well worth the money we paid. We are very impressed Thank you.

Am just travelling home from a fabulous week in Cayton Bay and so very sad at having to leave. We had a fantastic holiday (party including my Mum, my husband and our 4 and 2 year old children and every one of us was sad to leave the park. The troopers are absolutely fantastic and clearly love what they do and it was these amazing people that made our holiday so great. We participated in most of the activities and the children spent a week being Vikings, superheroes, dancers and more. Brad, Emily, Connor and Ryan were all incredible but a special mention to Mitch, Alex and Chloe for the smiles you bought to our children's faces. Highly recommend Cayton Bay for a holiday park that still had a high emphasis on family fun!

User

Lovely holiday park... good facilities... close enough to the beautiful sites of Scarborough. We had a private caravan but it was really lovely, plenty of room for 8 of us. However, some of the staff were a tad grumpy and rude, hence why I have given 4* and not 5*

User

Had a fab weekend just a shame the caravan I stayed in wasn't clean to say it was free on a raffle prize I won at the goldwing parade in Scarborough last September I thought the person might of wanted to make a good impression definitely wont be booking through him again as we wanted to come back, as a owner on blue dolphine I know making sure your caravans looking good for first impressions for guest to come back is important caravans lovely just needs things fixing in there to but never mind glad I didn't pay anything.

User

We had a private let caravan this week. Caravan fantastic and had everything you can think of. Very homely. Is further away but still nice walk to entertainment area. Also quiet area so was great.

The park was good but shame it was let down by a few staff and rules.

Started off collecting keys and reception couldn't even say "have a great holiday" It does make such a difference when people excited about their hols.

Few bar staff were so dour faced they really shouldn't work with public....yet others couldn't do enough for people.

Entertainment was first class. Well done.

Pool really not fab. Too shallow so can't actually swim and air conditioning blowing was absolutely freezing...even on the hottest week of the year it was far too cold to stay in the pool too long.

Asked for dirty fries off of menu on Sunday afternoon after our swim to be told you can only have the carvery until it runs out then can order from menu. Seriously have never heard of this before. Surely have the staff on to manage both.

All in park was well kept, excellent for families and in great area. Beach hilly but we'll worth the visiting. Scarborough and Filey close at hand. Whitby, Bridlington and York doable easily.

User

We were here for a week, baring in mind I wanted to go home the first day, ridiculous how muddy it was near all of the caravans, surely common sense is to get some paths, (most caravan parks have paths leading to the caravans!) we’ve all ruined our designer shoes, weather was crap, nothing to do for people my age, and the prices for drinks in the show bar were absolutely shocking! Tried to contact the head people for help and they declined the email! Such help! My fiancé is 6”7 and he couldn’t even fit in them beds so he had to sleep on the seating in the lounge which was uncomfortable for him since he has back problems....The caravan was too cold because obviously if you have a dog you get punished which is not on! the only thing that suited our needs was the shop, other than that, the whole holiday was nothing but a waste of time, will definitely not be coming back!! I hope you see this Cayton bay holiday park because you need to sort your standards out!

User

Staying on this park at the moment. Very disappointed with caravan. Supposed to sleep 6 people. Only my husband and I staying in it. No room to swing a cat. No cupboard room for food. No cupboard for Hoover and bucket with mop,so everything on show. Hanging wardrobe space very limited. Not enough room for two to stay let alone 6. Blood stains on pillow and dirty duvets. We have stayed on many parks.this is far the worse. Clayton Bay never again.

User

If there was an option for no stars then that would have been my rating! Stayed for what was meant to be a 7 night break at Cayton Bay having arrived for 4pm check in 7th April. We have holidayed with Parkdean resorts so many times over the years but this is the most uncomfortable and cold and miserable we have ever been. It seems that because we have brought our dog with us we are forced to stay in a caravan which is painfully basic, damp and uncomfortable. My daughters 6 foot 6 inches tall fiancé has had to move his bed into the middle of the room so his feet can protrude through the bedroom door!

We have no central heating and the windows are all letting in extreme drafts with the curtains blowing about during the night. Also we can’t park beside our caravan and therefore have to walk through purely disgusting muddy conditions to get in and out of our car. Our shoes are ruined and the car needs a good valet.

The park is advertised as a dog friendly park yet there is nowhere to eat or drink with the dog?

The holidays didn’t cost that much but when you are forced to go out and buy a heater and extra duvets just to stay warm, and have to go out in the car to find ‘dog friendly’ places to eat it becomes a costly break.

I am completely unhappy and as a life long customer very disappointed. Holidaying with your family pet shouldn’t mean you must stay in unacceptably conditions.

We are so cold and our shoes are ruined that we have had no choice in cutting our time here short. It’s annoying when you work so hard to treat your family to regular breaks and this is what you get.

User

First time here and sure won't be the last, had an amazing time, the staff and entertainers were absolutely brilliant. Everything was perfect for our first time here and was brilliant for first time impressions. Thank you for an unforgettable holiday x
