Chad Lakes

Chris in swim 3 has had one last night on Cell and a few pellets.

Casey's 13.5 from the weekend.

Gem and Dominic have sent me pics of their fish from the weekend. They had 4 in total. Dominic's was a 14.3 caught on 14ml halibut pellet. Gem's were a 16.5 and a 14.4 both caught off the top from swims 7 & 8.

Amber Bethany Clemmens has sent me pic of their fish from swim 11 today.

Luke is in swim 2. Using 18mm cell topped with milky banoffee pop up he's had a 17.

Craig is in swim 1 with his son Casey. Using candy crush boilies and a pva of squid liver they've had a 14 common and a decent tench. Unfortunately carp at night and no pic.

Filippo Spica has sent me pics of his 2 fish from the weekend.

Luke and Wayne are in swims 6 & 7. Using bloodworm wafters they've had 6 to 17.04.

Filippo is in swim 3. Using tutti fruiti boilies he's had 2 16's.

Sam is in swim 2. Using coconut and cream boilies he's tempted one into the net.

Packing up this morning was Michael and Luke, from swims 12 & 11. Michael had one on hybrid pop up fished over some pellets and freebies. Luke had 2 on pineapple crush fished over freebies.

Chris and Karl have packed up from swims 2 & 3. Using tigernut boilies tipped with corn they have had 4 to 16 between them.

Richard Plummer just had this one. "Nice mid double from under the willow in the far corner, sticky signature pink pop up fished on a naked chod."

Just walking round and John has just had a common, from swim 9, on Mainline link dumbell.

Gareth is in swim 12, using nut crunch he had a 16.01.

What a lovely picturesque place! Fished it for the first time in a charity match, very well looked after, didnt catch the owners names but what a lovely couple, will definitely come back again!

Went here for easter weekend beautiful place very clean and accommodating partner caught a 17lb mirror had real great time definitely recommend it.

Stunning water and really well kept unfortunately blanked today. Only 1 fish out all day but looks really promising for future and really nice surroundings. Defo be back !! ☺

Me and Mrs just got home after a 48hr session on chad pool and very impressed. We had a fish each I had a 16lb mirror and mrs had a 14lb common they were 2 of only 3 fish caught in the time we were there. We will be visiting again very nice clean and secure fishery can't recommend it enough

Love this venue! Great for a few runs whatever the weather, with most fish caught being in the upper teens an the odd 20lb thrown in for good measure!

Just got back from a overnighter and also my first time at Chad lakes. I was amazed at how well it is kept and how scenic too! Unfortunately I blanked but has just made me more determined for next time ;-) .

Had a splendid session on the day ticket lake today.

Plenty of knocks and a missed run.

Culminated in a mid 20 mirror.

I didn't think you could catch this type of fish on standard day ticket

The fishery itself is clean tidy and well managed.

All in all a top venue

Fished here yesterday Lovely little lake. Didnt catch a thing the fish were just not feeding! looking forward to coming back with new tactics to hopefully land a decent fish! they were all on the top and just not interested in anything!

Fished Chad pool. Lovely little place. Had a few 19's and quite a few high and mid doubles. Weather was hot,hot hot I think we would have had a lot more if it had been cooler. Owners were great.

First time for me at chad lakes .... rocked up in darkness last night at 920pm..... the lake is beautiful looking .... great features and awsome islands to fish to..... my good friend matt cutts caught 4 carp over the 24 hr sesh...cracking looking english carp.... ! Really nice owners aswell... il be back fishing there again thats for sure.... tight lines.

Did a overnight on thursday had two out at 15lb and lost one in the early hours great venue will be back next week for more

Chad is one of the nicest fisheries I ever had the pleasure to fish. The scenery is beautiful and the fishing is excellent. Dave and Gay maintain it to high standards and are usually on hand to help if you need it. I would recommend a trip to anyone in the area who is looking for quality fishing at fair prices.

Beautiful location - perfect for families, 2 bed lodge located on the site. 3.5 miles from Stow on the wold just a perfect location for a break away.

Dave & Gay the owners are lovely people it's our 3rd visit to Chad lakes by far one of the best lakes for carp fishing and so much more!

Fished chad lake on a 48 hour session. Easy to find and wonderful location in beautiful surroundings. The lake is stunning even in the winter/spring and I imagine it would be even better in its full glory. The swims are nicely laid out and there is plenty of room. Could do with a little bit of maintenance but nothing to spoil the experience. Thoroughly enjoyed and had a nice Mirror to complete my experience. Would definitely recommend.
