it was our second time here, and the sunday roast is die for.

Went for Pie night and all four of us loved our meals! Well cooked food and excellent staff! Top notch!!! �

We stopped here for a stretch after a long ride. The lunch was lovely, well presented and very tasty. I had a jacket with bacon and brie my husband, the pulled pork baguette with bbq sauce and a Tiger Ale. I wasn’t drinking but they had an extensive collection of Gins!

The staff were friendly and welcoming. Thumbs up 👍

Came here with work colleagues and we’re all still raving about it hence this review :) By far the nicest pie I’ve ever had. Buttery crumbly and crispy pastry filled with proper chunks of melt in the mouth steak and a perfect amount of Stilton. The chips and veg were both really delicious too, chunky crispy chips. Huge portions and more than a bargain for the price. Lovely atmosphere in the pub also and the staff were all very polite and friendly. Food served very quickly. We pre-ordered via email (emails were promptly answered as well). Couldn’t fault anything at all. Anyone wishing to book won’t be disappointed. Will definitely return again.

Best Pub meal i have had for a long time,had the Shoulder of Lamb with Roast Potatoes and Veg all freshly made the Lamb was very tender followed by Apple Crumble and Custard ( not tinned ).there was four in our party and everyone enjoyed their meal..will return.

Absolutely fantastic evening at the Cheney Arms. Food was delicious and so filling, especially the steak pie! All of the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. I'll definitely be coming back again. Thank you especially to Alf who served us. I'd highly recommend this pub to anybody!
