Ahead of Saturday's Christmas Party Raceday the going is currently soft, heavy in places. Further drizzle and showers forecast but we do not foresee any problems with racing going ahead. We open at 10.20am for a 7 race card, with music from Stereophonics tribute StereoIronics.

His year started in sensational style when he became the youngest rider to win the Coral Welsh Grand National at Chepstow. He's now one of the leading jockeys in the UK.
