swanky, sparkly, swish - very comfy, well-kept & clean - & very friendly staff: great double-bill of movies, & pinky-pact with friends to visit OFTEN :D

User

Love this cinema , as a unlimited customer can see as many films as i like , whenever i like . I'm a Tour Driver so spend alot of time in Weston and cineworld is only 2 mins away from my Hotel, so my evenings are wide open & i love films . So it's perfect for me.

User

Lots of space maybe a bit too much that could be utilised for other things. Comfortable and polite staff

User

Great Cinema with really good sound and picture quality! Staff are really friendly and it is licensed so you can take in a beer. Prices are a bit steep for chocolates etc but you expect that from this sort of establishment! A really enjoyable evening which ended with a visit to Pizza Express next door!!

User

Finally, a Cinema has arrived in Weston that's worth visiting! I've been travelling to Bristol for years, to be able to watch movies on a decent screen, with good sound and comfortable seating. The old Odeon was dated when I was going there 30 years back!

Ticket prices are reasonable, there's a good selection of food and drink, though expensive as usual. I was particularly impressed with the gradient of the seating, giving everyone an unobstructed view, regardless of how tall the person in front of you is. To quote Arnie, "I'll be back"

User

2nd time to this cinema (11th Feb 2018) great venue, great seating positions and great sound, plus that nice new carpet smell you get when you enter a new house 😉 will be going there regularly from now on to watch my movie(s) of choice 👍

User

We went to watch the incredible's on a Monday at 5 . 2 adults and 3 children, our youngest has Autism so we were hoping it was quiet which it was . He lasted 40 minutes before he started to wonder around the bottom 2 rows of seating , which wasn't a problem .

The 30 minutes of previews before the main film would have been a major issue if we were not already late to sit down .

something to consider if you have children with shorter attention spans

User

Stylish decor (although main entrance downstairs is a bit bland). Screen 1 was excellent. Good sound. Seats at a good steep incline (less likely to have view blocked) and comfortable. By modern standards it’s not 5 Star, but happily go there again to watch a movie.

User

Overall a very good cinema, but the desk to book your tickets was ridiculous. Had to wait so long as they only had a couple of staff serving. We waited so long nearly missed the beginning of the film. We could use our Meerkat Movies which helped. I liked the seating arrangement here as the person sitting infront if you was a lot lower so you had a good view of the screen. Seats were very comfy with lots of leg room. Would use this cinema again

User

Lovely cinema, ice cream and sweets etc very expensive as usual. Staff were friendly though, just not enough of them. No one greeting to explain where things were or help people who needed help with machines incl me as not sure where to scan qr code. However FYI you just get it scanned as you go into the screens though once done it doesn't bring up your seat numbers so don't go in till after getting drinks etc or make sure you know your seat numbers. Once in hard to see seat numbers, though rows had little lit up letters on the steps. Seats though were well set out ad comfortable. My son wanted a drink after and was disappointed tills were closed and it wasn't that late about 10 pm. Having said that we had a good night and will definitely go again instead going to Bristol. I agree with previous comments could do with what's on notice board at entrance. Mostly just teething issues and all probably in the pipeline to be done.

User

Great cinema - plenty of leg room and comfy seats. Picture quality and sound excellent. The only things I would say is that they love their air con and the hot drinks machine seems to be out of order more than it’s working!!

User

Cinema is extremely good.

Kids cinema prices very good for a weekend morning showing.

Lots of nice big screens and nicely sloped seating for a good view.

Can’t fault the facilities.

If only the outright greed of the pricing for food and drink was regulated to sensible levels we might actually want to buy some instead of just taking a bagful of our own in. This goes for all cinemas these days though, not just this chain !!

User

we were firstly not shown the disabled access to screenings, then there was no changing places toilet allowing disabled child to be changed with dignity and respect! considering it was a new build little thought had gone into disabled facilities!

User

Unfortunately, Hereditary was a suspense film with lots of quiet moments. There were strong winds on the sea front and the whole building was creaking, ruining the film completely for us. We were in Cinema 6, if that's any use to anyone. Normally, we enjoy this cinema but, we'd look at which side of the building we're going to be on for future visits.

User

Overpriced tickets £9 for an adult? Overpriced stacks and you have to climb a mountain of steps to go up. Then you get vertigo coming down. People are trying to save money not spend over £30 for a night out. Weston should fight to keep the odeon going that is far better value for money.

There we go rant over

User

The customer service is dreadful! After being given the wrong tickets and putting the kids through half an hour of adverts prior to the film starting there was no apologies. We were refunded and kicked out. We bought sweets etc to the tune of £38 for 2 adults and 2 small kids, which i don’t begrudge but if you pay a premium you expect a premium service. Facilities are great but the price doesn’t make up for the truly appalling customer service- £68 and our Sunday afternoon wasted!!! Plus Kids disappointed!!! I can’t imagine how long it’s going to be there if it treats locals like this and doesn’t work to rectify their mistake because they didn’t make us want to return.

User

The cinema is great some staff rude when asked does anything there contain nuts was told in a pissed off manner go online and check well I was already there so I couldn’t so next time if I will not buy any only a ticket

User

Sickening that disability discrimination is still so high and in places like ‘cineworld’ in Weston would not be the place I would ever except such disappointment. After looking forward to watching a film there this morning with one of the guys I work with was rudely told that even though he has a vulnerable adult card accompanied by a support worker that he would not be allowed to watch this film due to ‘them’ being loud? When I asked who’s to loud she said ‘teenagers’. This is not only unfair and untrue what she said but no other reason valid reason why we couldn’t go in and watch the film. The film was a PG for anyone under the age of 12 years old? Looked this evening and seen many similar reviews and comments Regarding disability discrimination in there before! For a place that thinks they accommodate autism and disabilities this is truly not the case here! Looks like they could do with having new trained staff and changed apparent ‘rules and regulations’.

User

Don’t try and buy unlimited at the cinema they say their pad isn’t working and suggest you go home and from there and return to cinema next day and no managers available. Not the best customer service to say the least
