Summer series starts August 5th - He is the PRINCE OF PEACE
On the 4th August 1918 King George 5th invited the nation to pray for peace. 100 days later on the 11th November 1918 peace was declared.
Today 100 years on our world still needs us to pray for peace, and so we invite you to join with us and churches all around the nation in praying for 100 days for peace and reconciliation. In order to help you please either use the link to download a pdf booklet giving ideas and thoughts for each day for 100 days, or collect a booklet from... the church on Sunday.

While reflecting on our Listening in Lent initiative during the week UCB's summer edition 'Word for Today' arrives in the post. The wrap round is called Purpose and quotes Proverbs 19v21; "Many are the plans in a person's heart but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails." Here's to a purpose for our church's plans as we consider investing our resources.
New sermon series - The book of Judges in the bible is not about people in wigs and court proceedings but the story of different people who God called to be a Saviour, a Warrior or a Military Champion in order to save the people of Israel. Join with me as we explore how these reflect the story of Jesus and what he has done for us.
