Classic & Custom Furniture - Tracy Gulacsi

Lovely pair of dainty music chairs, re-covered in Jacobean Garden fabric and trimmed in antique style upholstery tacks 😍 hope my client loves them as much as I do :)

This is a great example on how you can make 'old fashioned' furniture look more modern :) My client chose this piece from the shop when it was brown with beige dralon, as she liked the shape. After half an hour chatting about colour and fabric, I had a plan :) I've stripped back this ornate telephone table, painted in mid grey, and upholstered in this lovely screen print style linen. As a nod back to it's age, I've added pewter upholstery tacks. Definitely an improvement on beige dralon 😀

One of my favourite 'up-cycle' items to make is a footstool or ottoman from an old discarded draw :) This one is made from solid pine, hand painted in mid grey, with a fully upholstered lid featuring a travel themed fabric. It measures 22 inches wide x 19 inches deep x 18 inches tall. Perfect as a footstool, but also strong enough to use as extra seating if you have a houseful of visitors :) Available to view, and purchase for £60, at The Artisan Centre Somerset.

This has got to be the cutest Lloyd Loom item I have ever found 😍 It's a little stool with storage and all I needed to do was replace the foam and fabric on the lid 😀 Measuring just 18 inches wide x 12 inches deep x 14 inches high, it's perfect for the smaller bedroom as a laundry bin and stool :) Available to view, and purchase for £45, at The Artisan Centre Somerset.

I've never seen a chair like this one before 🤔 so the decision on how to revive it took a while 🙂 I'm really pleased with the finished look, quite a glamourous boudoir chair, with hand painted gold legs and a 100% wool Flokati cover. 😍😍😍 Available to view, and purchase for £60, at The Artisan Centre Somerset.

A client brought in this antique Victorian piano stool to me as the springs were trying to escape :) I replaced the hessian, re-stitched the springs in place added new coir and finally re-covered in 'Jacobean Garden' by John Lewis with antique nailing. It should last another 100 years now 😍

Well done Hannah on finally completing your latest project :) This classic HK Designs 1950's bent wood armchair was crying out for a new fresh fabric, and Hannah has chosen an 'on trend' leaf print that really compliments the style of the chair. 👏😍👏😍👏

Very smart! My client requested a simple window seat cushion using the tweed fabric she already had, I've added the black piping to give a smart, polished finish :)

Had a lovely afternoon at the weekend with Mandy & Kerry, who wanted to have some Mother/Daughter time, and to create a piece of furniture to match the armchair they had previously purchased. Here are the results :) a lovely little footstool in a Sanderson like flower print, with a lining in green ticking to compliment. Thanks to Jenny (Jen's Den) for making the cushion to match

Literally a 'happy camper' 😁🚐 Sam had the original draylon replaced with a cheerful but practical blue check cotton fabric lined with fire retardant interlining. A big shout out to the lovely Jenny (Jen's Den) as she did the majority of the work on this one 😀
