We were there after they just opened (for business). Great find. Shabby chic decor, beautiful view, and extremely friendly staff. We had delicious Aperol Spritzes to pair with our amazing sausage plate. Everything was delicious. We're from out of the country, and they even let us sample a few English wines they had available. Really cool joint, can't wait to return! (And I wish we had a place like this in the US!)

We were taken for late lunch by our son. He was a regular visitor there and we weren't disappointed. All 3 course were exceptional for all 3 of us. Great wine at very reasonable prices. The total cost was less than £60 for 2 x 2 courses 1x 3 course and 6 glasses of wine.

Staff were first class.

We had a lovely meal at Clifton Sausage in Bath.

The restaurant was clean and we were seated quickly even though we arrived 15mins early for our 8pm table reservation.

This was a birthday meal for me so started off with some champagne which was lovely. The starter of Baked Camembert was delicious. Couldn’t fault the sausages with the main meal, good quality and the yorkshire pudding with the toad in the hole was yummy.

The waiters were friendly and helpful and even brought out a surprise birthday pudding which helped make my birthday meal extra special. Thank you Clifton Sausage for a great meal.

User

We had a fab evening. Great food which was not rushed and we love this as it makes for a good evening. The best views from the garden and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Will deffo come back. You made our family meal very special. Thank you to all of your staff . 👍👍👍

Took my Mum, Sister and Brother here on Friday 26th May - I had seen the menu before I decided to book - there is something for everyone - it isn't just for sausage fans! We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and it is great value - great service - will definitely be back!

User

This is the first time I've been to the one in Bath and I wasn't disappointed either. The quality of the both the food and the service is fantastic, the wine was also good. I would recommend going to Clifton Sausage.

User

The Sunday roast here is incredible, big portions of great food and at a fantastic price. The staff are always lovely and very attentive. Would highly recommend

User

Superb meal and friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

User

Particularly good as toad in the hole!

User

Lovely Service as usual! Highly reccomend clifton sausage in bath! Thank goodness they made that place into a place we can enjoy!! ( regularly) always good to book for Sunday Lunch as they get booked up quick 😁

User

Having been here enough times, I can safely say it's one of my favourite places to eat in Bath!

Service strikes that perfect balance between attentiveness without feeling overcrowded or rushed which is a huge thumbs up in my books (so many places get this so wrong!)

As for the food, it's always been absolutely spot on! Pork is obviously a speciality, but even the non-pork dishes are impeccable. The Yorkshire puds are something else!

As for puddings, shout out to the sticky toffee pudding! It's my favourite from any eatery in Bath (pretty sure I've tried them all) by a country mile, it won't disappoint!!

User

Great food great staff and overall great place to eat and drink

User

Great food and fantastic service, get this place on your bucket list!

User

Great brunch place, we would all definitely go again! We were a big group of girls in a hen do and the bottomless brunch was yummy and really fun! Thanks so much!!

User

Excellent meal, recommended.

User

Visited for dinner as we received gift vouchers as a Christmas present. Good food and excellent service. Not just sausages on the menu - fish dish I had was very good too. Refreshing not to be charged for water (even sparkling). Would not have visited if we hadn’t been given vouchers but will certainly go again. Lovely old building sympathetically modernised and it was lovely and warm in a very cold night.

User

Very nice meal all four of us enjoyed it very much . lovely staff very friendly .

User

Really nice setting and nice view , food was lovely , well cooked and nice flavour , drinks were very good value too and a really nice desert . The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that the food is a bit over priced but we did it on a groupon so very good value , but wouldn’t be able to go here very often at the normal prices .

Waitress was very friendly too

User

Food was lovely. The set lunch menu (3 courses for £12.95) was very good value for money and adding on a glass of wine for £3.00 was a winner. Plus two for one cocktails was very pleasing.

We sat down stairs as the popular area with fab views was full but didn't mind that either.

Only point I thought needed sorting out was a very unpleasant toilet smell as you descended down the stairs to the lower restaurant area.

Will definitely return!
