Went today for lunch and food was amazing.

Tried the tapas as it was recommended and i was not disappointed. The meatball one was to die for and cannot wait to have it again.

Went there today for lunch from the new menu! I liked it before, but I love it now!! Had the tapas Prawns, Papas, Calamari, Mini Chicken Skewers & Hot wings! Just the quality of food and service was outstanding!

We visited Cocina for the first time today for lunch. The staff were very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. The food was excellent. We will definitely be back and look forward to bringing our family with us next time. Thank you so much.

Visiting Swansea with the boyfriend - we are both Vegan, and were looking for somewhere to go for a casual evening meal with a friend after work. Fabulous menu choice, with a seperate vegan and gluten free menu with some fantastic choices, and a regular main menu to choose from as well. Food was gorgeous - my friend is a meat eater and loved his Burrito - I had the Quinoa pot, which had an amazing chipotle sauce, and my partner had the chili tacos. Polished everything off! Service was wonderful, staff are super friendly too. Defo recommend :) even got a Rodeo Bull if you fancy embarrassing yourself in fron of your mates!!

Visited cocina last week, staff were great, we had lots of fun with the bucking bronco!! Food was fantastic and great atmosphere as Brazil were playing that evening! Juan and Michael were very friendly and helpful as we had my 7 year old son with us! Thank you.

The food here has always been flavourful and the portions plenty. In the four times I have been I have had fast and friendly service with staff going above and beyond what was expected. Will always come back for an evening out with my boyfriend!

Really loved it here! The food was really tasty and there was a decent selection of vegan dishes and non-vegan options for my friend. We had a really great time! Nice atmosphere and I could tell the manager really cared about his customers. Also there's a rodeo bull to ride and sombreros to wear. Brilliant!

My partner and I visited for first time today, and we were not disappointed! Lovely welcome from Steve , could not do enough for us. Friendly and very helpful too. We ordered our drinks while looking over the menu, the lunch menu good,not too much choice but enough,what they have caters for all. Vegetarians, vegan too it all looked very good. We'll definitely return, the staff are helpful not pushy and anything u need they do there best for u ��� see you soon .

My girlfriend and me originally sat outside zinco lounge and while she went to find some menus, I peaked my head over the bushes like some weird stalker and caught eye of some of their meals, so we decided to give it ago. There was a lunch menu and to be fair, there wasn’t much variety, but I like that. I’m all for less is more when it comes to food, mainly because it takes me ages to order anything. Anyway, we both went for quesadillas. I had Mexican fries, she had nachos. Then we split them, ordered sides of guac, salsa and jalapeño and made our nachos (savvy!). The waiter we had was laid back and informal, which was great to see. Nothing worse than someone taking your food order with their hands behind their back like they’re waiting for royalty and nodding at you pompously. There was little wait on food, it was well presented and it was delicious! Fair to say we cleared our plates and will definitely be going back. Tell you what else I liked, the waiter waited for our mouths to be empty before he asked us if we were enjoying. I learnt a few weeks ago that some waiting staff are trained to watch you take a bite and then ask, just in case you give bad feedback! Blew my mind! I know Las Igunas is around the corner (boo rival!) but this place tops it. All that food we had and beers and it was under £25! Incredible. And if none of that swings you, think about this... Would you rather eat at a restaurant that in English, the business name translates to “Kitchen” or “The Iguanas”. The place you make food or the name of a herbivorous lizard.

My friend and I popped in for lunch, as I had heard they opened a Mexican restaurant in Swansea, and being an American living in Wales, they are hard to come by. This is not a typical American/Mexican restaurant, but very good.



I thought the food was lovely, I had Carnitas Tacos and they were very good.



Our Waiter, Chris, was very attentive and a delight. We had a good lunch and a good time. I highly recommend Cocina's.

Mexican choice of Food was great.. attentive customer service, went above and beyond... rodeo bull was up and running... great usp... had amazing beer with awesome pictures in the froth... really enjoyed our evening immensely... so looking forward to the new menu next week... happy days ���

I went to Cocina with my boyfriend and little girl a few months ago and had a lovely meal, I went back on bank holiday Monday and my meal again was delicious! They have had a new menu and it was great, our two year old had a kids meal that came out before ours, which was great as she was very hungry, we tasted her chicken strips and chips and could have eaten it all ourselves �.. I had two lovely cocktails � Can’t wait to go back for more happy hour cocktails and to try the tapas!!! The staff were great and very friendly, also noticed they had a vegan and gluten free menu � xx 5*****

Had a lovely lunch today, faultless service and very delicious food, would definitely recommend. Just hoping next time we can come in the evening and sample the cocktails and have a ride on the bull.

Been here twice now and both times were awesome. First was just before Christmas and we had the special festive menu. They went above and beyond for us and we had a great time. The margaritas were fantastic! Second time was yesterday. We popped in for lunch and the lunch menu was only £5.99! The food was amazing and the staff were lovely again. Our server remembered us too! Would definitely recommend this place, we'd happily go again and again. The food is great and prices too.

Went here for lunch last Friday. Staff were accomodating and friendly. Tables were all spotless and looked very clean all around.Cocktails are little pricey but had good selection to offer. I had a cocina chicken burger which was very nice and the fillet of chicken was huge! My husband had Mexican beefy burger which also was tasty and the Mexican fries were lovely. Fair size portions for money we paid. Would return again soon. �

Went here for food on Christmas eve. It wasn't very busy, about 4 tables had people seated. We ordered the salted nacho chips to start which said on the menu you can order 2 of the dips. The waiter told me I could only have the choice of one. When I pointed out on the menu it says I can order 2 different dips, his reply was "yes well...... its only one"! I couldnt be bothered to question him as it was xmas eve and I wanted to relax. When it came there were 2 little pots on either side of it so it wouldnt really make any difference to them if they did as the menu stated.

I was then told the main I ordered wasnt available. Luckily that was what I felt like so I asked him to check and when he did, it was available. The mains took ages to arrive and we had the basics!

I had a porn star martini which arrived without the shot of prosecco its supposed to come with and states on the menu. So that was like flat sweet squash without water! The mojitos had no salt rim on the glass. Considering this is a mexican restaurant, you would think they would do things the mexican way. A couple of mexican hats laying around doesn't cut it.

Swansea could do with a nice mexican but sorry to say I dont think this place will last long.

Its a shame
