Crafted Curtains Description
We are a small home based business providing made to measure soft furnishings. We provide a personal service to our customers - from providing a free advice and measuring service, to ultimately assisting our customers in meeting their needs within a given budget.
All our soft furnishings are hand crafted with exceptional attention to detail. Everything is made with a mix of machine and hand stitching as appropriate. The service we provide you simply cannot get from large retailers. The fabric options open to our customers are endless. We are happy to assist in the purchasing of fabric whatever your budget. The bulk of the cost of curtains is in the fabric - and on a tight budget shopping around is the only way to make things more affordable. We also have access to trade accounts with suppliers and are happy to open new ones when required.

After a little bit of time off recently I'm back this week working on several bench cushions - these ones just happen to be pumpkin coloured πππ. A walking foot is a must when dealing with tricky fabrics. This was a poly wool that has a rubber fr backing. The walking foot allows an even feed, eliminating wrinkles! Back to yet more grey cushions for me next π€¦π
I love deliveries like this....9 new Ashley Wilde fabric books! π They have been a bit of a distraction from finishing off some blinds and trying to tidy up π

This little lampshade went off to the US a couple of weeks ago. It is to be used as a prop in a TV show!! I was so excited ππ

I've made another 2 bench cushions today. The large one in a Warwick light grey fabric, the other one in moon wool. The smaller one is actually for my client's pugs to sit on! ππΆπI've also just shipped lots of online orders for cushions, lampshades, doorstops and lavander bags. #pamperedpooch

Catherine was a pleasure to deal with, very helpful, prompt and I am now the proud owner of a beautiful blind which fits perfectly and makes the bedroom look fantastic for my son. I will be using Catherine again as soon as I find an excuse to do another blind or curtain somewhere!
