Yesterday, in the Preschool we walked along the sea front to Walmer castle. We followed the Easter trail answering the questions along the way to earn our Easter egg. We walked around the castle looking at all the old furniture and had a play and picnic in the garden.
Thank you to English Heritage for arranging for our children to take part in your Easter Egg Hunt, we had a lovely afternoon!

Some of the children in the Preschool Room have been helping Laura and Steph to build a new kitchen for the Explorers Room. They helped use a variety of tools and followed the instructions. Doesn't it look lovely?!

Last week, we enjoyed vegetable printing in the Explorers room. We used peppers and carrots to make a variety of different shapes and we even used some of our animal toys to make foot prints in the paint.

Stephanie has been busy transforming the front of the Nursery using recycled toys that are too damaged to play with.

We hit our target of donations to the National Autistic Society! We have so far raised £255! We would like to thank everyone that has donated so far. Here are some ways that the money donated can help support the National Autistic Society:
-£5 could pay for a recently diagnosed adult to call our helpline for support and advice -£40 could pay for a parent of an autistic child to have an hour-long telephone consultation with our Education Rights Service -£200 could fund our Par...ent to Parent service for a day -We also need the public’s support to raise vital funds to continue running campaigns and influencing government decision making and laws.

The children are enjoying taking part in the 7k for 700k challenge for Autism Awareness. They are doing a different 7 minute activity every day. So far they have taken part in an assault course, had a danceathon and a mini marathon. They will continue to take part in different activities across the week.

We completed our 7K walk for Autism Awareness in an hour and a half! We were very lucky to have beautiful sunshine the whole way along our walk, we all had a brilliant time! Thank you for your continued support and donations we are nearly at £200 raised so far!

In the Preschool room we have been learning about the growth of flowers. Today we having been comparing ourselves to a flower, learning how and what we need to grow. We learnt that just like flowers we need water, sun and food to grow.

In the Explorer Room we are really interested in pretending to be doctors and patients so have made our own Doctors Surgery in the Role Play Area.

In the Preschool room we have been planting seeds ready to grow into beautiful flowers for our garden. One of our friends brought in the Sunflower seeds in for us so that we could learn all about how sunflowers grow and how to take care of them.

We have been so pleased with the level of care provided for our son. He arrived at nursery shy, cautious and unsure of people he didn’t know, but has blossomed into a confident little boy, ready to take on big school thanks to his amazing key workers!

This is an amazing Nusery this is 3rd Nusery I have used and this one is by far the best !! Such friendly staff treat all the children the same so helpful wouldn't change a thing x

This is a wonderful nursery. What makes it so exceptional are the staff. They are all so invested and interested in the children. My two love being there, have learnt so much and thoroughly enjoy their sessions. The staff exhibit real care, thought and compassion in their day to day care and I have always felt completely happy and confident having my children looked after by the team. I cannot recommend highly enough.

The staff at creative minds are incredible. They are all intelligent, friendly, interested and completely engaged with the children. I feel very confident leaving my son with them and I know he is having a great time and learning lots about the world about him. I highly recommend the nursery.

Thank you ever so much for all your help with my daughter. She has tried 3 nurseries, didn't like any of them but loves it here. To see her run into nursery is a joy in any parents heart. The teachers that she has does so much for her and I love the fact that they go that extra mile for you and your child..Thank you

Such a rewarding place for my son to be, learning social skills but also educating my son. Creative Minds it seems is very accommodating and goes above and beyond. The smiles and happiness when my son can show and speak of what he's done that day, makes me a very proud mummy

My little girl has been going here for 2 months now and has settled in really well. I'm very pleased I picked this place. All the staff are lovely and I feel at ease leaving her each week :)

My daughter joined creative minds in September and she has loved every second of it (apart from when it’s time to go �) she was slow with her speech development when she started but she’s come on in leaps and bounds since starting nursery, they have been so supportive of her and the staff at creative minds are amazing with her! Would 100% recommend creative minds to anyone, especially to those who have children who need a bit of extra support, thank you so much �

M son absolutely loves creative minds. He has grown into a lovely little boy. He loves all the staff especially Steph and Melissa. Thank you guys!!

Fantastic nursery!! All the ladies are so lovely.. my son has been attending since he was 1 for one morning a week and then as he is now 3 he goes the 22.5 hours a week. He absolutely loves it here.. Tracey and Emily have really brought out the best in my son.. his confidence has blossomed beautifully and he is always creative and learning new things.. which is updated on the online updates.. which I love reading.

You will not go wrong sending your child here.

Mani had never been in anyone else's care before Creative Minds and we were keen to find him a loving, caring, nurturing and creative environment in which to grow and become more confident. Mani loves Creative Minds for all of those reasons - and the craft and the slide and the bikes and the stories he comes home with which tell us about his day.
