it might be freezing outside but it's cosy and warm at Daisy with plenty of homemade food available. homemade soups, bacon sandwiches and a healthy omelette with salad. of course there is sponge and custard for pudding too!! pop in and treat yourselves.

Went today for my birthday had afternoon tea with my hubby and my boys had chips and ciabatta was lovely will go again
We were the first to arrive this morning at the Daisy Tea Rooms and ordered a delicious breakfast. What a pretty tea room with some very good menu choices. Will definitely be back next time we're in the area.
We were on holiday when we nearly passed here on our way to Whitby. The food was lovely and they catered for my gluten free diet no problem with a full cream tea. Would highly recommend.
We went today for the first time and would go again. A nice traditional style tearoom with pleasant staff and ample off road parking . A nice environment and the best homemade chocolate caramel shortcake ever.

Recommend the rarebit and the staff were so friendly, made me feel very welcome, even let me leave my car a few hours whist I went for a walk, not many places allow this. Will definitely return

Just had afternoon tea here, service was lovely and the food was beautiful.... Booked a table for inside but staff were more than happy for us to eat outside and made sure that our stay was enjoyable... Great value for money and will definitely be going again!
I came for afternoon tea with a friend. The place itself is lovely the area the furnishings. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Can't believe I'd never been before but the food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing it's the best afternoon tea I've tried and will defiantly be calling back bringing more friends and family with me !
I called in for a cup of tea whilst waiting for my other half to finish a coast to coast ride. As a tea room owner myself, I look at things (being nosey of course). A beautiful tea room, great service from lovely staff. The fruit scone was fab and I will be pinching the idea of chocolate sauce on hot chocolates. Thank you for making me very welcome
Have been today for lunch ,had the special which was two courses for ВЈ10 consisting of home made pie followed by crumble and custard ,can recommend highly. Staff very friendly and nothing to much trouble,all very welcoming
Had a lovely mid morning break there, fast service considering, are you always that busy, didn't expect you to be full up on a Monday morning

Brought my grandma here for afternoon tea. She had the st clements option and i had the original afternoon tea. Me, my grandma and my mum all loved it and would definitely go again.

Went for the special Easter afternoon tea. Delicious and very filling. Not so keen on the chocolate mousse part - but everything else was lovely. Proper ham in the sandwich made it very tasty. We had booked a table which was a good job as people were getting turned away. Service was prompt and empty dishes cleared away efficiently. Will be back and would recommend to all. Only point to note is that they don't accept bank cards - however we were aware of this as we have been for coffee/cake a few times. If this changed then I would up my rating to 5 stars x

Lovely place, nice setting, good selected of sandwiches etc at reasonable prices, and the food is generally very nice, but the chips aren't chips. They're assorted shaped giant chunks of fried potatoes, not good. But aslong as you avoid the "chips" a very nice place!

Everything beautiful well done planning on bringing mum soon so bought a voucher. But yes sorry there is a but 1 thing doesn't do you justice you have a normal radio playing maybe something more in keeping with the decor maybe good. In saying this when in the area I will be going back repeatedly xxx
We booked a table and when we arrived we were told we had cancelled our table! When we booked we asked for 4 high chairs we were told they only had 2. We said we would ring back if that was a problem.. So we turned up with our toddlers and were turned away(even though we haven't cancelled) I understand that mistakes happen but the way the situation was handled was wrong. We were basically told tough there is nothing they could do and we could wait for 30-45 mins for a table with 4 toddlers!!! Very disappointed with the service and will not be returning!!!!
Rude staff and stale scones. I personally wouldn't want to give them anymore business.
Poor service, poor attitude, poor first impression.....will not be chancing a second visit!
It states on the menu don't feel rushed
We were asked to leave by a very rude owner/ server after our second coffee as people were waiting for tables
It goes without saying we won't visit again
