Charlotte and Chris were married yesterday at the fabulous GG's Yard in Gatehouse of Fleet. They had an amazing day and braved the windy conditions to get some beautiful outdoor photographs. Charlotte and Chris make a perfect couple and I would like to wish them well for the future and thank them for choosing me as their photographer and being such fun to photograph. Matt & Kay popped into the studio earlier today with baby Olivia. It was lovely to see them again and to meet their new addition. Olivia was the best behaved baby ever and we got some lovely photographs. Here are a few of my favourites...

I had a great time earlier photographing Stephen & Sharon's engagement session. It was hilarious, just ask Stephen what noise a giraffe makes :-) Not long to go until their wedding day, I can't wait it's going to be awesome!

It was great to meet Matt & Renee earlier today. They will be getting married in the Summer at Friars Carse Country House Hotel in Dumfries. They were up on holiday today and we took the opportunity to do an engagement shoot. It was great to get to know them both and I am looking forward to seeing them again on their big day.

I had a great time catching up with Amy & Neil during their engagement shoot. They were just visiting for the weekend as they both now live in London. They were a lovely couple to work with and it sounds like it is going to be a fantastic wedding day!

Lyndsay popped by earlier today with little Lexi who was as cute as a button!

It was great to catch up with Hayley and Alistair earlier today, we managed to dodge the rain as we talked about their exciting wedding plans and took their engagement photos. Not long now to the big day, it's all getting a bit exciting...

It was great to see Gill McWhirter and her lovely family for a New Year photoshoot. It was lovely to meet Jay, Josh and Abi and take their photographs.

We had a photo session with you before Christmas time , and even with a very un-cooperative little boy, our pictures were excellent!! What a job to choose from them! Ended up with a gorgeous canvas made up with 6 of the pictures, and we love it!! Thanks very much Dan, would defo recommend you!

STUNNING, CREATIVE, AND UNBELIEVABLE! Those are just a few of the words I'd use to describe our wedding photos from Dan. I cannot recommend Dan or his photography highly enough! We had an absolutely amazing experience for our wedding photography. We eloped, so it was very important to us that the only person present for the whole day (our photographer) was easy to work with and made us feel comfortable. Dan was exceptional! He made us feel at ease and we had a great time with him. It was like being with an old friend. He created a bespoke wedding package that was perfect for us with our overseas elopement. He was amazing to work with from first contact and perfectly captured our special day. Our family members gasped when saw how beautiful our photos turned out and we could not be happier. One comment on our photos was "your photos are stunning. They are making me wish I could elope" and I couldn't say it any better. Thank you so much!

Really pleased with our pics we got done of my son Richie & dog Roxy! Dan was fab!!! Studio was well set up for some super snaps! Only problem was trying to pick our pictures as they were all amazing!!!!! We'll be back!

My brother, sister & 1 recently had a photo shoot done with our kids & dog as a surprise photograph for our mums 60th - there were tears...she absolutely loved it! U done a great job Dan & super fast at getting them back to us. Thank you again.

Dan, was happy to answer all of my questions, provide recommendations and was very flexible to accommodate us. Dan has done a couple of family portraits for us in the past and they were fantastic but when it came to our wedding photographs we couldn’t have picked a better photographer. Dan looked the part, he’s the smartest dressed photographer I’ve seen, he is also very good at making you feel relaxed when he is taking your pictures and makes it as much fun as possible. He went above and beyond to ensure that we got all the pictures on our wedding day that we wanted and despite the weather being bad in the morning our photographs are outstanding!
