Daniel Kronenberg Clinical Hypnotherapist Description

I am a clinical hypnotherapist based in Bath and Salisbury. Do give me a call on 07472 134824 to see how I can be of help to you.

Professional Membership

I am an associate member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH) which provides ongoing professional development and requires a strict code of professional and ethical conduct. I am also registered with The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). The Department of Health recommends that members of the public always consult with a CNHC - registered professional.

Since March 2014, I have been an Anxiety UK approved therapist offering hypnotherapy to their members in my practice rooms in Bath and Salisbury and / or home visits if required.

Training and Qualifications

I trained in Clinical Hypnotherapy with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis (LCCH). The LCCH’s partnership with the University of West London (UWL) is an historic development within the hypnotherapeutic profession. For the first time individuals have the opportunity to gain a bona fide postgraduate university qualification in clinical hypnotherapy.

As well as providing a comprehensive practical training in therapeutic applications of hypnotherapy, the course involved an academic study of the major schools of psychotherapy - cognitive, behavioural, analytical and individual psychology and how to apply the psychological theories, behind these schools, to the hypnotic model.

I was awarded a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Hypnotherapy.

A lovely photo from my client Steve who came to see me just before the new year.

I've mentioned before my appreciation of Acem #meditation for helping me improve sleep and reduce stress. For the first time a full beginner's course is being held in the West of England near Bath.
Highly recommended.

Spend 20 minutes with Russell Foster.
Russell Foster is a circadian neuroscientist: He studies the sleep cycles of the brain. And he asks: What do we know about sleep? Not a lot, it turns out, for something we do with one-third of our lives. In this talk, Foster shares three popular theories about why we sleep, busts some myths about how much sleep we need at different ages -- and hints at some bold new uses of sleep as a predictor of mental health.

A current client of mine is a hospital doctor. When I asked him why he chose #hypnotherapy, he said because of its clear evidence base in some areas. It's great to see the message is getting through to the medical profession. Here's a recent use of hypnosis in a hospital in Canada.

User

Yes. I'm banging on about sleep again.

User

Here's yet another reason we need to prioritise good quality sleep. #Hypnotherapy has been shown to improve deep sleep.

Here's why, according to a neuroscientist, you should get on your walking shoes.

Sometimes a client comes to me with a physical condition which impacts on their mental state. Erin came to see me as she had a medically unexplained hand tremor which was reducing her self confidence.
Here's what she wrote a few weeks after a couple of sessions:
... " I wanted to leave it a few weeks before I emailed you back just so I could give you a good update on how things have been since our sessions.
I have to say I have noticed a big improvement with how I am with my hand tremor on a day to day basis. I am far more confident when approaching a situation where I need to pick up or carry a full glass or mug. My friends and family have also said I have a far more positive attitude towards it, which is lovely to hear.
The hand tremor or course is still there but I am just able to approach situations that I once would of avoided with more confidence now.
So thank you very much."
