Reviews
Today some of our children attended a cross country festival at East Durham college. These were a mixture of boys and girls from years 1-6. All children put 110% effort into their races and were rewarded with some fantastic results! Our overall places were as follows:
Year 1/2 girls - 1st
Year 1/2 boys - 1st
... Year 3/4 girls - 1st
Year 3/4 boys - 3rd (a very close result!)
Year 5/6 girls - 1st
Year 5/6 boys - 1st
Well done to all the children involved, our year 3/4 girls, year 5/6 girls and year 5/6 boys will return to compete in County finals later in the academic year, as well as our individual runners who finished in the top 3. A fantastic morning had by all!

Reminder that tomorrow Year 2 will be creating a pop up museum in the large hall from 2.30-3pm. (Thursday 18th October) We are inviting parents/guardians/family members to come along to see the superb space projects that the children have created! We will have some space arts and crafts projects for you and your child to interact with whilst you are at the pop up museum.
A difficult night for Easington in the Daniel O'Hare County Cup Final. A fourth placed finish is a blow but the lads should be extremely proud to have reached the final stage. As always, thanks to all who could get to Lumley and support.
We look to bounce back tomorrow night in the first round of the Alan Grimes Cup.
... Also tomorrow, our Year 3/4 team play their first games as we take part in a festival. Could all players come to school wearing the kit they received today ⚽️
