We provide good quality horses for hunting on Exmoor, we also provide a full hunter livery service.
Exmoor Hunter Hirelings Description
We are a no frills, no fuss professional yard operating since 2002 providing good quality, seasoned hunters for the Devon & Somerset Staghounds, Dulverton West Foxhounds (Friday country), Dulverton Farmers Foxhounds, Exmoor Foxhounds & West Somerset Foxhounds (Brendon Hill Country). Our horses range from 15hh to 17. 2hh, quality cobs to thoroughbreds. We can offer fantastic horses for a wonderful days hunting on Exmoor. We also do full hunter livery, transport, clipping, plaiting, exercising. All our horses are turned out to a very high standard.
We are a very friendly welcoming yard, situated in the heart of Exmoors best country.

First days hunting at Larkbarrow,a bit of a warm day as expected followed by a lovely lunch at the meet field. Thank you to all of the supporters who put in so much hard work, lovely lunch with a great atmosphere.

4 horses out yesterday with the DSSH for Jack Hoosegoods memorial meet. Lilly had the pleasure of being ridden by her owner and Heather dusted of her coat and boots and got out for the day on Ellie. 🐴
Wonderful day with the Exmoor. My partner and I had 2 lovely horses. Beautifully turned out, well behaved and very experienced with the conditions on Exmoor. Would highly recommend

Phil and Heather are friendly and welcoming, look after their horses and their clients well ,and take great care to match horse and rider correctly. Thank you - can't wait to come back !

Excellent service from start to finish,such lovely people and so helpful. My daughter and her friend had the best days hunting ever,came back with such big smiles on their faces and filling us in on the day. My daughter Naomi fell in love with the horse she hired for the day.Would recommend to anyone wanting to hire a horse in exmoor. Definitely be doing it again and looking forward to it.
Cracking day on a very fit and well mannered horse. The horse was exceptionally turnout and Phil and Heather were fabulous hosts.
