Fee Mctoal Millinery Description
Bespoke Orders
I can either take bookings either within my retail space or if you'd prefer we can arrange a booking via Skype, Whatsapp and Messenger so please contact to make an appointment.
All headpieces, hats and fascinators are blocked and stitched entirely by hand, using traditional millinery techniques, ensuring quality and attention to detail. As all pieces are hand crafted, they tend to take time being created, anything from 4 to 6 weeks, so when ordering your bespoke piece, make sure you allow plenty of time!
Before your consultation, you need to think about your requirements, they might include:
• Size of headpiece
• Your outfit
• Colour /s
• Is there a deadline for your occasion
• Shape of headpiece
• Your budget
On your first consultation, we will chat about your outfit, what occasion your headpiece is needed for, what you are looking for, styles, shapes & colours that will suit you and what materials and embellishments you may like.
We have hats and headpieces that you can try on, and we can discuss what suits you. This initial consultation will last approximately 1 hour, in which I will give you an estimate quotation of what you are looking for.
After our first meeting, I will confirm prices via email or text message and if you decide to follow through with your customised order, I will ask you for a non-refundable 50% deposit.
If there are any changes to the design, or extra embellishments /accessories after this point, then they must be sent in writing as early as possible and will concur an additional fee.
You may need a fitting during the process which I will confirm an appointment and you then can try on your headpiece to make sure it fits perfectly. More complicated orders may need more fittings.
Then there will be a final fitting where you can collect your order and pay the outstanding balance of your customised order.
Each headpiece, hat and fascinator that are created, are unique so no two are ever the exact same. If you see something you like on here, but would prefer a different colour, etc, then it can be created for you.
