We have been wanting Fish & Chips for a while and as we are new to the area and being quite remote where we are , I had a look around for the nearest Fish & Chip Shop. Well we were certainly not disappointed they were spot on ! Lovely Fish, wonderful Batter and the Chips were superb and lovely friendly people who own it. We can't wait for the next visit !

Visited the fiddlers elbow today and wasn’t disappointed. The fish is cooked to order and tasted great. Chips are lovely and service was friendly. The digital boards are an added extra which give details on the deals and locality of the caught fish. Congratulations to all

The best chip shop ever. Food is incredible and the batter bits are to die for. Would never eat else where now. Be in on Saturday night.

Massive difference since the refurbishment - the batter on the fish is so much lighter and crispier with the new fryer - mushy peas were excellent too. Chips seem better also, bit fluffier - although they were always pretty good.

I have a complaint to make.......your fish and chips are just too darn GOOD!! I have to keep coming back for more! Super cod and chips again. Crispy batter, light and fluffy chips! See you again very soon!

Excellent chip shop run by happy people who care about the food they serve. All the food is cooked to order so is fresh and hot as Dominic doesn't believe in reheating old produce. Treat yourself to some quality English takeaway.

Dom, Linzi and Nathan have just served up to us one of the best value and high quality fish suppers that I can recall. It being seafood week Fiddlers Elbow have been running special offers all week. We took the special offer of hake, chips, lemon slice and home made tartare sauce which was more like a whale and chips. The fish cooked in Hobsons beer batter was outstanding, as was the tartare sauce. I cannot recommend highly enough. It is even better when served up in The Sun Inn over a pint of real ale. Thank you Dom and Linzi. Simply fantastic.
