It's great to see the end result of the recipes from the Flavour First veg boxes. This week's delivery included instructions for Minestrone Soup which a customer enjoyed for lunch today and shared with us.
They had to adlib with pasta shapes instead of spaghetti as the recipe recommended, but they created a tasty warming bowl of comfort food for a bitterly cold day.

loving the fruit, veg and salad combos, the extras are good too and love the fact that you get something new in the box nearly every time, I tend to buy the same old same old when I shop, go for what I know so yes, the variety is great, the service is great too, delivery man is very pleasant and less packaging is a big bonus, may I also add that the produce do seem to keep far longer than shop bought, I stored these in the exact same way as supermarket veg yet I have tomatoes from 3 weeks ago still firm and kiwis, avocados, apples, all keep wonderfully, I also had a double yolker in my eggs, was like finding a 4 leaf clover :D well done Flavour First. :D

We received our first box (Large veggie box) last Thursday!! Have to say I was greatly impressed first of all by the quantity in the box. It was certainly not a rip-off. Great variety of produce plus something new to me - kohlrabi! I've HEARD of it but this was the first time I've seen it!! (But then again I've not gone looking for it in the past!).



Secondly, the flavour was excellent ... lovely locally produced vegetables.



Really impressed with the service so far & so handy: I no longer have to lug big bags home from St. George's market on the train!! it's all delivered to my door! :)

We have just made our first dinner from the new Ready to Cook Range and wow... it was so delicious!

We ordered the Rainbow Chilli with Rice along with our usual veg box and were so impressed with it. The ingredients were presented beautifully in the box and Flavour First had made every effort to use sustainable packaging (paper bags and biodegradable bags). The recipe card was very easy to follow with pictures to demonstrate each step, making it easy for those lacking confidence in the kitchen.

The finished product was so tasty not to mention being packed full of healthy ingredients, even my carnivore husband didn't miss meat! It would easily feed 3-4 people making it great value for money, especially on a night when I would normally be tempted to order a takeaway!

Thank you Flavour First, we can't wait to try some of your other boxes and in the meantime we have lots of leftovers to look forward to tomorrow!

So I made Flavour Firsts Veg Chillie, I was working Monday night at a Women's Networking Event and it took me ten mins to prep, following the very easy to use instructions.

I then left it to cook for 45 minutes and done. I was nervous about leaving it, as vegetarian, but came home to rave reviews, everyone cleared their plate.



Saturday night I made the Paella and like any normal Saturday, kids and husband came in at different times and were just able to lift a bowl of it. So instead of awful fast food or take outs my family had quick and easy very nutritious meals. All packaged in biodegrable packaging and using a local company, something I am very passionate about.

I can not recommend it enough, gets you put of a cooking rut, the flavour is awesome !!!!!

Just received my first veggie box and I'm so excited! Looks great. I love the recipe ideas and plan on making the soup tonight. I highly recommend this service, helping local farmers, reducing plastic packaging and delivered straight to your door.

I finally signed up and we got our first mixed fruit & veg box delivered to our door last week! We are working our way through the fresh produce and are almost ready to receive our next box this week again. There was such a good variety of produce plus we even received a box of fresh free range eggs as a lovely welcome plus a recipe too. I would thoroughly recommend signing up! Can't wait for our next box :-)

Great quality vegetables, tastes amazing and good variety. Veg box also came with recipe ideas to use your vegetables. They also delivered on time in the snow which was a nice surprised considering how bad the weather was.

First I received the mixed fruit-veg box and last week the veggie one. I am very pleased with both. It is great to arrive home to lovely greens and even have a recipe to inspire you. I think it´s good value for money. all the produce is big and tasty. I'd say one box per week for 2 people who like their greens should be OK. Give it a go!

Brilliant!! I love the ready to cook kits from the vending pod. Delicious & so easy to make. Couldn't recommend this company highly enough if you are looking for quick, home made & nutritious meals for the whole family.
