the Friends Of Norton School, (FONS).

Norton Sub Hamdon School PTA, also known as
the FONS – Friends of Norton School.

We are a very active organisation, comprised mostly of parents but also grandparents and former parents, arranging many fund raising events throughout the year such as:

Film nights (for the children,
which is a film after school with tea).
Fairs at Christmas and Easter
Sports Day Barbecue
Non uniform days
Bags2school
Quiz nights
Children’s disco
Various themed events throughout the year
Sponsored fun run
Selling Plants, Cakes, and lots more. .

Last year we also produced a school tea towel which included every child in the school (drawing their face),
and Christmas cards, with each childs artwork on.
and we are thinking of new ideas all the time. . . .

We also hold good quality second hand uniforms which are available all year at £1 per item, (please ask at reception).

Even if you're not on the committee, your help is always appreciated, whether it's organising events, serving teas at the Christmas Fair, making cakes, or attending as many events as you can. The money raised goes towards many fantastic things including funding school trips, school facilities, equipment and other worthwhile projects which greatly benefit the children at Norton school!
