These are photos of recent wayleave clearance through thick 6ft + tall gorse on extremely steep ground in Helmsdale, Sutherland. Amazing what the Remote control Robocuts can do with the right operators, great achievement by Doug and Jimmy The house in the bottom left corner of the photo and the pylons give an idea of how steep this is.

Scary event yesterday for our driver Billy when our four month old Iveco Delivery truck went up in a ball of flames. Luckily Billy got out unharmed, more than can be said for the van, road, hedge and trees. The prime suspect at the moment is the Catalytic converter but we will have to wait and see what the specialist investigators come up with. There may be some disruption to deliveries whilst we source another van so apologies to anyone affected. As you can see these are circumstances outside our control.

Here we are at Turriff Show, the weather is good and lovely and warm, the crowds are starting to arrive. Looks like been a good day !!

Unfortunately Dutch Elm Disease seems to be really taking a toll this year, it obviously likes this hot weather. I have been asked to look at scores of dead and dying trees this week.

One of the tasks this week for Neil, Piotr, and Scott was to get this large Beech tree down in a VERY confined space at the back of houses. Well done guys. Great job.
