We thoroughly enjoyed our little weekend break camping here. Welcoming owners, great prices, beautiful scenery, perfect field to pitch and facilities, delicious food and good choice of ales and top location for venturing into north and mid wales. We will certainly be returning :)

We love this place, have stayed here many times with our touring caravan, always made to feel very welcome by Harry & Tracy. And will continue to visit in the future. Great food in the restaurant and bar meals, nice relaxed atmosphere.

We knew the new owners from way back and have always found them to be the most hospitable and friendliest of all our acquaintances. They are enjoying their new venture and it shows when you go to visit the Giler Arms. I would whole heartedly recommend it.

Was camping with the Triumph Sprint guys 21st to 24th April and just wanted to say Thank You as it was a Lovely clean and tidy campsite with great toilet and showering facilities. The bar was warm with great beers and restaurant fantastic as well. PS fantastic couple that run the place along with the staff.

Thanks again I will be back at some stage. I was the boring one with the dodgy tooth.

Would highly recommend

So after a mad panic to book a campsite for the bank holiday, we were told about your lovely site. We arrived Friday and we immediatly loved it. Flat field, clean showers and toilets and the views were amazing. Unfortunately, when the never ending rain arrived on Saturday, our tent decided to not be weather proof anymore so we had to pack up today before more rain arrived. We will most definately be back (after we have addressed the tent issue!!!) Many many thanks for a wonderful stay. ��

Mum and Dad asked me to leave a review. They love visiting this place, said the staff are wonderful the atmosphere fabulous and food is delicious. They'll be back as soon as they can :)

Lovely quiet campsite even better that it in the grounds of a lovely pub with great food. Made to feel really welcome by owners. Great toilet and shower facilities. Loved the friendly sheep �

Hidden gem of a campsite. Very reasonable, lovely clean flat field and clean facilities. Set in beautiful grounds, just what we needed for a relaxing short break. We will be back

Had an intimate little birthday party there. Food and service were lovely great views and a quality cask ale selection to die for.

Had a weekend stay here and it was brilliant, the landlord and landlady couldn't do enough for you, we were made to feel very welcome and they even made room in the pub for our massive bear. Thanks guys it was a lovely stay

Had a top weekend, can't fault anything, The owners are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble, we'll be back.

Camped with a group of friends last weekend. (June 2014) Lovely location, very friendly manager. Facilities were good, nice pub. Camping field beautifully kept with amazing views of Snowdonia mountain range & gorgeous sunsets. Definitely visit again

Amazing place! All the workers are lovely, food is always gorgeous!!! 3 course Christmas meal was amazing! Christmas eve and new years eve were great!! Fantastic atmosphere! See you all again soon :)

Absolute gem of a pub! Very friendly, relaxed vibe. Great beers. Visited with our 2 boys as staying at a nearby campsite. Board games available to use, boys enjoyed challenging mum and dad to darts! Friendly atmossohere and worth a visit (would love this to be our local!)

A wow bedrooms! Bonus bar and restaurant looking over a lake. Friendly staff. Reasonable price. I would not hesitate to book it again.

A lovely village pub and campsite. Good facilities, food and hospitality. Highly recommended.

We have been coming here at May bank hols for 10 years now - It has changed hands several times and is no longer a tied Bathams pub The licencee has now been here for the last couple of visits and remembers us - good food and good beer - and good service - hope they stay for a few more years

Was staying at a camp site nearby but would like to stay here the next time we are in the area. We had dinner. The fish pie was one of the best I have ever had. My husband had a Balti which he said was excellent. Good menu choices at reasonable prices.

Lovely place stayed in a tent, the bathrooms are spotless free showers and they had heaters. I'd like to say the new owners have made such an improvement on the place is was going down hill last time I came. Made to feel welcome by the new owner and the locals. Played pool and darts in games room sat by the the lovely warm coal fire, free wifi and also aloud to charge our phones. Thank you for a lovely time

Only small whinge no pot wash for campers but certainly wouldnt keep me away keep up the good work guys.

First tried Y Giler 2013 as it was pub with campsite and open all year we went for the new year in motor home .we got bogged down but a kind gentleman helped us out the weather was ok. as we had had rain for ages and every where was flooded The food was very good people complained on reviews about washing up area but l took mine home for dish washer.... as we only stayed a couple of nights and ate in the pub, nice walk round lake,chocolate factory down road yet to sample it .

My partner went back with his biker friends camping in tents for weekend had some fab rides out and a great time the staff where very frendly the food great ..... in motor home or tent we will be back this year first class...... down side midges have boots on lol
