About
Glasshouse Studios consists of three professionally spec’d rehearsal rooms and is run by musicians for musicians. Each room has a top of the range PA system including three separate monitor mixes. Backline hire is included at no extra charge and consists of Drum kit (including cymbals), Bass Amp, and 2 x guitar Amps.
The rooms are clean, large and comfortable giving the artists the perfect atmosphere to express themselves. .
Before beginning work on the studio we asked ourselves what a good rehearsal space should include, and came up with the following;

– Quality Solid backline equipment that won’t let you down
– A relaxed yet professional atmosphere with adjustable lighting schemes to suit your mood

History
Situated 10 minutes from Oxford city centre in the village of Cumnor, and surrounded by beautiful farmland, the location of Glasshouse Studios has been used as rehearsal rooms and recording studios since the mid 1980’s.
The building itself was originally a cold store room for the farms apples and other fruits, and it’s thick insulated walls and heavy doors were an obvious choice for a music studio. The building was originally converted in the mid 80’s and its been used by just about every well known band to come out of Oxford since then.
After several name changes and various owners the studio has now been completely renovated; new floors, walls, ceilings, a new roof, complete rewiring throughout, a new kitchen and installation of a much-appreciated indoor toilet (the outdoor one is still available for those who prefer).
All in all it’s a much nicer place to be.
Glasshouse Studios now has all of the old charm and seclusion of its predecessors, but with the comfort and modernity you would expect from a top rehearsal facility.
Pricing and rehearsal slots
Glasshouse Studios is open 7 days a week.
Slots are available as follows;
10: 00 -14: 00
14: 00 - 18: 00
19: 00 - 23: 00
Other timings can be accommodated in off peak times (i. e. mid week day times. )
Each 4-hour slot costs £42 (or £40 for regular weekly bookings) per room.
48 hours notice must be given for any cancellation, otherwise full payment for slot is required.

Visited Neon Teepee's rehearsal, great place, great acoustics and comfortable surroundings. I'd highly recommend this place for any band. Middle of nowhere is also a big attribute so they can make as much sound as they like! Top marks

It’s fantastic now, great sounding rooms, indoor toilet, comfy, inspiring countryside.
I want to take a moment to talk about the bench. I've been to many practice rooms over the years, and not a single one has provided such a rock solid and study piece of sitting apparatus. Seated directly behind one of expertly fitted and stunningly finished practice rooms, it is worth the trip down Denmans lane just to sit and marvel at the view.
Also the toilet is nice.
Fantastic place, took my 12/13 year old and his friends so they could have a jamming session.....will definitely be returning.
