Hi all,

Thank you!
came here yesterday with my mum for an early birthday treat! Lovely place to relax, friendly welcoming staff and the food and cocktails are amazing! will be coming back!
We visited recently as a group of friends. Excellent food, friendly and helpful service, perfect wee spot for food and drinks
We came here for lunch and a catch up with our friends.
We ordered 2 beef burgers & I have to say that these burgers were the best we'd ever tasted, (no exaggerations)!!All the toppings and ingredients that came with the burgers were of a fantastic quality & the chips that came alongside the burgers were fresh, crispy and delicious!
We sat and enjoyed a few drinks in the very eclectic atmosphere, with vintage cars, duke boxes and chopper bikes on the walls and on display.
The staff were very attentive and approachable, they were more than happy to serve with a smile
I'd certainly recommend this place to come for a drink or food.
Unlike the previous negative review (moans and groans) our first visit was a lovely and chilled experience. We are new to the area and will be going again. Very friendly staff, comfy surroundings and great food. Prices are good too! Keep up the good work guys! S&L

Had a lovely tea last night with my daughter and grandchildren. Food was excellent. We ordered a selection of tapas which all came together and hot. The children were well looked after. My grandson asked for his brownies to be warmed and they were.

Always the best time ever here, great food, atmosphere and fantastic drinks!
Always nice staff and food.
Lovely food service could be a lot better. . Will defiantly go again . It was only a casual lunch
Great looking restaurant, staff were lovely, me and my other half had the chicken and beef burgers and they were fantastic! Really tasty, I also had a chocolate orange brownie for dessert which was to die for, my partner had the lemon and blueberry cake which he really enjoyed. Can't wait to return!
As a local "foodie" I'm lucky to have visited most of the eateries in the valley. So I've been keen to try Hoysters for a while now. There is definitely a buzz about the place when you walk in (we were there from 5:45 till around 7:30 on a Saturday). We were asked if we'd mind sitting on a table with two "regulars" which wasn't a problem at all. We got seated and chose our food... The impression I got was that for what they were charging per dish what we would receive should be something really special. Fast forward nearly 40 minutes and our food arrived. I won't go into specific dishes probably because they all blended into one mediocre meal. The food was competently cooked and maybe it would have impressed me if it had hit our table 15 minutes after we'd ordered... But what we got after over half an hours wait wasn't exciting enough to justify the wait. I'm sure the owners will cry "but we were busy"... My answer to that is that a restaurant should still run at its best during its peak period. So in conclusion I'd say I left Hoysters full rather than satisfied. I may give it another go sometime in the future, but I'd need convincing that things had improved significantly.
