Went to day with our 2 grandsons to see santa .It's the very best place to see him .from the 2 wonderful elves in their super outfits who took time to speak to our eldest about his list .to the fabulous santa in his grotto.this santa is very good at talking to little people he takes his time and truly super .You are really made to feel welcome and unrushed .your allowed to take as many photos as you want .thank you .
Went to breakfast with Santa was amazing the staff were amazing and the kids loved it well worth the money and a visit 5 for irton garden center
Went there yesterday mainly for a meal and was certainly not disappointed. The steak and stilton pies and the prawn salads were freshly done and extremely tasty. The garden part looks a bit messy with gifts and candles etc. all competing with garden equipment. Will certainly go again though
We went for the breakfast with Santa, it was absolutely brilliant from start to finish! From the cafe staff, to the two elves, to santa, it was brilliant and all the kids loved it! And such good presents from santa too! Please do it again next year x
We loved it. Only can visit when on holiday in the area
Just a fantastic place...great food..great shopping with unusual and beautiful gift ideas. I buy all my plants from here and always top quality and my bird food and bird feeders. Charlie bears and just got a beautiful jewellery box. Cavery is wonderful at a good price and staff are always there to help. And Christmas.....well that's when the place really comes into a world of it's own. Keep up the good work I will be there sunday
It's my number one Garden Centre to me . And also big thanks to all the staff and if you want any help there always happy to do so with a smile. That's what makes it number one Garden Centre to me ..
Had food at Irton garden centre before and its always been tasty but we went on sunday and the carvery...well what is there to say but it is Absolutely the best carvery i have ever had yum yum
Always a good meal here that's why we keep going back
Went yesterday and spent a lovely afternoon having lunch then buying most of my bedding plants. Good selection of plants at reasonable prices.
Still putting things out though for summer.
We like to visit here once or twice a week for either breakfast or lunch. The food is predictably good every time and the staff are friendly. There is plenty to choose from on the menu, plus daily specials. The large car park means that there is never a problem parking. The centre seems to be well stocked with plants/equipment and all a gardener could need, but the clothing seems to be aimed only at the more mature gardener.
Visited for lunch and plant shopping today. The food was good but you really need to address your portion sizes - my daughter had a child's pasta which was teeny tiny, and my dad had an adult pasta of which he barely managed half. Shame she couldn't have tackled his leftovers, but the poisonous spinach put her off We noticed two half-finished plates of pasta on another table, so we weren't the only customers overfaced by the quantity. Waste not, want not
Very nice place and Excellent at Christmas time .Must say things are well over priced if cheaper they would sell a lot more .Same mobile bird thing with a little bell on the bottom was 9 99 and in B and M shop was 3 99 .no difference .Had a meal was very nice no complaints but I wish they would bring your hot drinks with the meal .Otherwise a nice day out .
The shop is brilliant especially at Christmas but cafe not so much. Went there for a drink a few weeks ago and ordered a hot chocolate. Not sure what I got given but it was either NOT a hot chocolate or the most disgusting hot chocolate I ever had (or tried to have as honestly could not stomach it). It has really put me off from ever having any food or drink there but I will be returning many times more for the shop.
Ok but the coffee ☕️ needed to be hotter and were I was sat there was a very good draft and when I looked to see were the cold was coming from there was an air grate no wonder it was cold not good needs sorting
Nice place.but like an ice box inside.especially near front part .they really need sort heating out. Looks a bit of a mess at moment because putting xmas stuff away.would be much better if they closed that section off to customers for now.outside just as bad.really doesnt do place justice as normally very nice.
I paid £7.25 for a 'large' meal of chicken bites and chips and I was told the options were either peas or salad garnish, not both. When the meals eventually came after 15-20 minutes my 'large' meal was on near enough the same sized plate as my sons kid's meal which I paid £5.75 for. It was exactly the same meal but with 3 extra nuggets. All in all I paid £15 for two bog standard chicken and nugget meals with 2 cans of pop. I will not be coming again as I think this restaurant is extremely over priced. Also a salad garnish should be a complimentary side to a £7.25 meal, you shouldn't have to choose between garnish or peas.
Shop very nice but dinner was appalling, Sunday Lunch in three sizes, we had middle size and the Turkey was very scrappy and broken into bits and vegetables left in hot plate and left to go cold, potatoes tasted like instant Smash very powdery won't be eating there again.
Made an appointment to take my niece to see Santa, the lady that made the appointment was very arrogant and lacked customer service skills. Then to arrive today and to be told that Santa wasn’t even there, when we had already booked left us very disappointed. We were told to come back Thursday however the whole point in making the appointment was so that we could fit it around her nursery? The response from the staff was “oh sorry he’s not here” and they did very little to resolve the issue. Will not be returning
