When I first gave the JWBBA five stars back in 2013 it was because my three year old son had just started training with the club and I was simply blown away that Jamie could work so well with somebody so young and shy, teaching them the ways of traditional martial arts. Four years later and not only has my son continued to train every week but now so does my daughter and me!



Jamie leads by example and every member of the club understands and lives by his methods. It is without exaggeration that I say he has dedicated his life to his club and students, tirelessly working to improve the teachings he provides. Jamie's hunger for learning is insatiable whilst his memory for detail is remarkable. However it is the amazing amount he cares for every single one of his students that puts him head and shoulders above the crowd.



A martial artist in the truest sense, he is a great fighter, teacher, philosopher and friend. If you live in commutable distance to his club you'd be a fool not to take the opportunity to train here.

Trained with TAGB for 7 years at a few different clubs and found Jamie's club later, I wish I'd found it sooner the respect for everyone in the club is a key priority and everyone gets treated the same as everybody else, the diversity is mind blowing and the traditional Tae Kwon Do style is kept and maintained and you can branch to other styles of martial arts in different lessons if you wanted to. Everyone is so kind and you are instantly welcomed and treated like you'd been there forever.

The Academy is professionally run and has given me back my passion for martial arts that I had many years ago ! Never did I think that joining the Academy would give me so much including an amazing bond with my daughter who is also a member but provide many opportunities to attend events and weekends in which common interests bring people together ! It caters for all ages and abilities and nobody is overlooked.....not even "little people"

Since day one we were welcomed into a special family and saw our kid grow into something amazing. Jamie is one special guy and together with his wife, Becky, have created a safe and nurturing environment for children and adults to learn martial arts. I will recommend them every time, no questions.

My son is three years old and attends little ninjas. He looks forward to going every week and Jamie and his staff are fantastic with the children. It's great for physical fitness as well as discipline. I'm so pleased to have found this local club which is highly recommended.

Woodlands since he was 3, at the start Harley wasn’t easy messed around a bit and he dint concentrate all the time! Jamie was Always very patient and always made Harley feel comfortable he is now nearly 8 and is a green belt. Jamie has always been absolutely fantastic with Harley. he is a great teacher and Harley thinks a lot of him. I would recommend jame and his amazing team 1000%

My little girls absolutely loves coming to her little ninja classes, it's disciplined & massively boosts her confidence.

My boy loves it. You have a great team around you. Considering joining myself �

My boy absolutely loves it here. Everyone is so helpful and very good with young kids. Xx

According to my timeline, I've been training here since I was 86 - problem is, I keep forgetting to go. In 3 years of training, I have rolled back 7 years of disability - seriously - I am doings things my Doctors say are impossible, and by 2025 I shall be 47 again. In the meantime, I dream of taking a point off Ben Coles or Sam Hartland in sparring!

A friendly enviroment with a twist of ass kicking. Tough work outs, just as it should be. This is the adult kick boxing sessions. Top marks from me ���
