The Rainbow Centre, Scarborough Christmas Appeal ..... Christmas preparations are underway at the Rainbow Centre. If anyone would like to donate new unwrapped gifts for children this Christmas we are particularly short of gifts for boys and girls 10 years plus. Please deliver unwrapped to the rainbow centre by Friday 7th December. Thank you!! 🎄 I am happy to take collection at the shop, Jinny Pinders if anyone is passing and can't get to the Rainbow Centre 🤶🎅

Rainbow Bear from 1st Seamer & Irton Rainbows has had a couple of days off but he is back at Scarborough Market Hall today and helping with glitter tattoos and watching all the kids dancing in their Halloween costumes 👻💀 he even met Penny Beniston who is the boss at the market

It's day 2 on Seamer & Irton Rainbows Bear adventure at Scarborough Market Hall , this morning he has already helped Emma paint the new Urban Kitchen Scarborough , made some lovely jewellery AND got to use a blow torch with Andie at White Beach Designs ! He didn't even singe his uniform ..... Then he went to see Carol at Cliff Miller Photography to see if there were any pictures of bears ...... Before he knew it he was playing with marbles at Gekoglass and knocking on fairy houses with Lindsey . He has a very important meeting tonight with Girlguiding Scarborough West Division so this afternoon he is writing reports on all the brilliant adventures that Girlguiding get up to 😁

We have a special guest in Scarborough Market Hall today ..... Rainbow Bear from 1st Seamer & Irton Rainbows has come to see what's going on down here .... So far he has been in my shop , went to see Brian at The Castle Bindery where he learnt how to fix books , then he called at The Honeycomb Shop ( had to stop him eating the honey) and onto The Seafood Social where Dean taught him to cook .... Lovely Julie at Bijou Creations was teaching him to write his name and is going to teach him to paint later !! He is off on his travels round the shops this week so he can report back to the Rainbows in his journal Girlguiding Scarborough West Division
