Day2 @justacard Indie week, use the logo and spread the word! Just a card is a great movement to bring home the message that supporting small businesses is great for our economy and buying even “just a card” from a small business can make such a difference , if we all buy just a card it can make the difference between whether the business survives or not.

So I’m a day late but here is yesterday’s post playing catch up as usual! This is me! Taking part in @justacard Indie week 5 day challenge, 10 things about me!
1. I live in West Somerset near the Quantock hills but I am originally from South Yorkshire and left there age 16. 2. I am a mum to three boys including Twins age 4, yes I’m warn out! 3. I met my husband and father to my boys at age 16, and we have now been together 17 years. ... 4. I am a self taught Artist and have been drawing since around 2 years old 5. I have just started my business full time and it is my first proper year 😬 6. I am a small package at 5ft nothing 7. I love cheese 😂 8. My favourite time of year is Christmas and springtime 9. My favourite colour is teal and turquoise, and I love making the world look pretty anyway that I can 10. My favourite flowers are Daffodils because they are so cheerful and sunny and symbolise new life in spring. So there we are this is me! The Original “True colours” is now available to purchase in Breeze Art Gallery in Williton, it has been professionally framed by John the resident framer in Breeze Art Gallery. So pleased with the finished outcome 😊

We commissioned Katrin to do two portraits of our three family dogs. One was a solo portrait, the other was of a pair. They both turned out fantastically, are wonderfully detailed and we had great communication with Katrin throughout as she advised and adjusted the compositions of the portraits. We were so pleased as were the recipients. One dog is sadly no longer with us so it has made Katrin's capture of him even more special to us all as it is such a lovely way to remember him and so much more personal than a photograph....



We cannot recommend her highly enough.
