Another happy customer...
I would just like to say what a delightful day we had on Sunday 29th June, everyone I have spoken to have said how much they enjoyed the day, and how entertaining Monty was, Chloe was happy to walk alongside him and my grandson (who is nearly 3) had a wonderful time too. I would also like to thank you for assisting me with the planning of the day, and we look forward to doing another trip soon.

User

I just wanted to send a note of thanks for such an amazing trip yesterday. The children really got so much from the whole experience. From meeting Monty and yourselves to gliding through the water and spotting all of the wildlife. Those moments when we were completely silent were so engaging for the children to really appreciate their surroundings and were just magical. Thank you so much once again.
Best wishes

Received this lovely email this morning from a customer:
'A big thank you for a wonderful day yesterday. Our trip was booked through Renown coaches of Bexhill and it was a great experience. Freddie and Steve are a magnificent team and Freddie is obviously much-loved and well cared for. Please convey thanks to the caterers for a marvellous ploughman's lunch also. It was a special birthday treat for me from a friend and I will always treasure the memory and recommend to others.... All good wishes for the future. June'

Yet another smashing trip out with "Monty" leading the boat. The canal in Spring is a delight but more so when being towed along peacefully by such a stunning horse and lovely crew. Thank you. Until the next time.

Our cycle group had a great day out on the Cygnet, cruising a beautiful stretch of the Kennet and Avon Canal. The boat was fully equipped with everything you needed. The eight seater dinning table really made for a relaxing lunch stop.

My husband and I paid for a day on 'Cygnet' (the self-drive narrowboat) as a gift for my parents' 40th wedding anniversary. It was such a brilliant day out enjoyed by all! We caught a direct train from Reading to Kintbury, where the boat was just a minute's walk-away (super easy to find). We were given a very warm welcome by Steve who spent 30 minutes kindly teaching us how to drive the boat and navigate the locks. And then we were off! We cruised up-stream towards Hungerford where we stopped en-route to pick up my siblings and their partners who had driven to and parked in Hungerford centre. We were 8 adults in total which didn't feel too cramped, despite being at full capacity. The countryside alongside the Kennet is just stunning and so peaceful. We moored up for a picnic at lunchtime before turning the boat around and heading back. Cygnet was extremely well kitted-out for 8 people - we had everything we needed - plates, glasses, tea towels etc. All we had to do was take food and drink. We each got involved and took turns working the locks and driving the boat, it really was a lot of fun! Our experience far exceeded expectations - great value for money and a really lovely way to spend time with family. Steve and his team were very friendly and helpful throughout the whole booking process. Our only complaint is that the day flew by too quickly! We can't wait to do it again. Thank you.

User
